Review Chuong Garden Chinese Restaurant - Oskaloosa

I ordered 76.00 worth of food for a family get together. The food was “fair”, and that’s being kind. And we were all hungry when it was gone. I was very disappointed. I’m not even sure we got all that we ordered. The noodles were hard and the meat was scarce. I wanted to call and ask them to fix but the family time was really what it was about. I will never order from this place again.

Excellent small-town Chinese place.

I was very impressed with the decor and cleanliness of the restaurant and was very excited about the food. I ordered the special of the day Mongolian trio that came with an eggroll and soup and my husband had the general tso chicken... the food came out hot and fresh however, .. the eggroll had no flavor and my dish was very bland. I also asked for extra spicy.. heat level 5 and it was at a 1... barely. My husband enjoyed his meal but, i thought it was a tad too sweet. Overall it's not the best food but, very clean.

I absolutely love this place!! My favorite Chinese restaurant. The staff is always really nice and the food is always amazing!!

These crab rangoons made me want to throw up. Tastes like nothing but white American cheese.

Kind of avoided this place since it wasn't a buffet, but we decided to try someplace we haven't tried yet. Large menu and very reasonable prices. We ordered from the lunch menu. Meal came with choice of sweet & sour soup or hot & sour soup. Choice of Egg roll or crabmeat Rangoon. And choice of steamed rice or fried rice. Everything was exceptional. Hot and delicious. Hot & sour soup was perfect. The place was clean. When the staff had down time, they were sweeping or cleaning. The waitress was very helpful and friendly. We'll be back for sure. I may never do a Chinese buffet again.
