Review Asian Buffet - Oskaloosa

Food was good and the customer service was great. Came in close to closing time and the staff went out of there way to make sure they had whatever food I wanted available. Good experience.

Was in there kids were so hungry. Can't say any of them liked it at all Took few bites and left the rest. Normally they love going to Asian restaurants not this one . 2 of the 4 wasn't feeling good after. Won't go there again.sad to there was 6 of us

For Iowa this place wasnt too bad for chinese food. Everything was warm and tastes pretty ok. Unfortunately Iowa residents don't know what real Asian food taste like. So we have tried many locations and so far this one was good enough that we will go back again. I do wish they had more food to offer.

Food was good, but not the best by far. Buffet selections were varied, but not as varied as others. Atmosphere was kinda dingy, not as clean as I would have liked. Service was great. Price was acceptable. Would I go again? Yes. But nothing really stood out to make this place memorable. Its more the kinda place you go too, and forget about shortly after. Definitely not the place you go too for lasting memories, and rave reviews. But acceptable. Simply, just acceptable.

Asian Buffet has delicious hot and sour soup. The buffet tables are well kept. Hot food hot and cold food cold. The server told us to let them know if we needed some dish replenished on the line. Many Chinese items such as sweet and sour chicken , chicken and broccoli, pork ,beef, seafood as well. Very good baked seafood. Lots of lobster in that. We found traditional appetizers such as egg roll and crab Rangoon. Asian Buffet has salads and fruits. Small assortment of deserts,but they do have hand dipped ice cream! Menu changes so we plan to visit again.

I live nearby so I go for buffets to go fairly often but most of the time I get delivery. Their dishes made to order are really good and they have a pretty big menu so there's always new stuff to try. My favorites are their peanut butter chicken and their mei fun, but I've never had anything off their menu I didn't like.

Ample parking in a busy location. Decent, but small selection / variety of food items.
