Review The Brickhouse Cafe - Oskaloosa

Good stop for lunch. Recommended to me by a local and it was a good stop. Cool interior with a great local crowd telling stories and enjoying themselves. The sandwich I ordered was very good and came hot. The server was very nice and recommended some great options from the menu. Highly recommend for a good lunch stop.

First time here. Loved it. Great food, friendly staff and an awesome atmosphere. Even bought me some artwork painted by the owners daughter.

Here is a picture of what they are calling the philly cheese steak. If you like indistinguishable meat goo with colored bits and barely any cheese, this place is for you!

I have been here only a few times since they opened but I enjoyed it each time. They have a smaller menu, but the food is good. I do wish the hours were slightly longer as I tend to miss the breakfast hours with the times I work. The first day I came here they had the most amazing special. I can't wait to try it again.

Stopped by the Brickhouse Cafe yesterday morning to order myself a chai. He suggested numerous options but I choose the raspberry caramel chai. Thank you for the suggestion because that was absolutely AMAZING! Also, thank you to another very generous customer who gave me his "free" drink with his punch card! That made my day! Thank you for blessing others in this way.

This is a nice little cafe. It looks modern on the inside. The food was really good. We had a cranberry chicken salad wrap, a Philly, and chicken nuggets and a fruit bowl for my 3 year old. The staff was very nice. Our food came fairly quick. We didn't get to try any coffee but will be back.

Awesome atmosphere and amazing food! Had the special of Baja fish tacos and it did not disappoint. Kids had pulled pork sandwiches that were very good! All very reasonably priced. Very lucky to have such amazing food in our little town.

Staff was very nice, location was clean, and has a cool atmosphere. Marketed as a breakfast location but breakfast ends at 10:30. The reason why I am rating 1 star is because menu item that said chicken bacon ranch wrap is NOT as stated but is a chicken salad wrap and no bacon found. There was no flavor of ranch and was not palatable. Philly cheesesteak was mediocre at best as well. I would NOT come back or recommend eating here.

Our favorite place to have lunch in Oskaloosa. Breakfast here is great too! Fun atmosphere, friendly staff. Breakfast burrito, pancakes, chicken bacon ranch wrap- all favorites. Love the specials as well. They make a killer Cubano sandwich! Two thumbs up!

Awesome place and spectacular service. This little shop is a big hit. Definitely recommend it if you’re in the area!

My favorite place to eat in Osky..�. I had the brisket.. delicious!! My go to is the crack chicken..yum! The cranberry chicken salad is also delish! And try the dill pickle soup when they have it...� Great service, friendly,

Came from ottumwa. This cafe is tits!!! Coffee is on point. Breakfast was amazing. Can't wait to come back. Plus your cold brew coffee is the best!!!!!!!!!

Wonderful place to eat! My mom and I had the cracked Chicken and the chicken salad sandwiches. Highly recommend either as they were both excellent! The coleslaw and cheesy hashbrowns are out of this world!

Ate breakfast there this morning for the first time. Excellent food, excellent service and a nice cozy atmosphere. I would recommend it to anyone. With Christmas just around the corner, don't forget they also have gift certificates, which make nice stocking stuffers!

Can't say enough about this cafe! They let us use the backroom for a bridal shower and did everything they could to make us comfortable! Amazing staff and amazing food! Will definitely be recommending this place to everyone!
