Review Oskaloosa Pizza Ranch - Oskaloosa

We tried Pizza Ranch again since it’s reopened with new owners. It’s clean, the food was fresh, staff is excellent and the owners were very personable. We’re very happy we gave it a try, we’ll be back.

I was really excited to learn Pizza Ranch in Oskaloosa was under new ownership and was love seeing people say it was really good. Today we decided to have some take out from them and enjoy it with family time at home. It was 25 minutes for a wait which is normal for a Saturday at dinner time. Got it home and loaded our plates. Our thin crust Buffalo Chicken Pizza had a decent amount of chicken on it and was crunchy. It could have used a bit more sauce on it. The slices were even cut evenly which was nice. The bad part was the edge being burnt and bitter. The fried chicken was tasting of oil that was burnt in the fryer and was a bit too dark on the skin. Inside was moist and tender but really greasy. I'm thinking draining needed to be done or watching what temp it's at when putting the chicken in the fryer. It was hot and fresh but Pizza Ranch has done better. The Biscuits were burnt on the outside and inside raw dough. That was something that should not happen. I pray you can fix problems and help your employees out so this place doesn't become the other one we had. For now we will skip this place and try months later.

Terrible food. Spent over $60 on an online order last night. Received liquid Mashed potatoes and undercooked pizza that made my daughter sick. Owner called when I completed their online survey and assured me that no one gets sick from their food. Good to know I guess. Offered me another meal from them. I declined. It was bad enough I'm not risking it again. Eat at your own risk.

Best Pizza Buffet in Oskaloosa! Our family has reserved the largest room at least one time in the past for our relatives that were gathering to eat out and visit! I am so glad that it is open again!

Cleaner than in the past. Pizza selection on buffet was poor, chicken quantity poor, but flavorful, cucumbers in salad bar were frozen and mushy. Overall, over priced for available food options.

Workers stood around the entire time. Was horrible at cleaning tables, and we had 14 plates stacked up while everyone just kept walking by our table. They were rude as well and did nothing. Pizza was old, cold, and stale. Not happening again!- Hailey’s family review

This was in Winterset, IA. While they had a nice selection of food. The food was not very hot. Staff was friendly and service was good.

Great experience did have trouble keeping up with demand on buffet but it was their first day
