Delicious Soup and Sandwich. I ordered the roast beef sandwich, a cup of tomato basil soup, and a drink at the counter for a total of about $12 before my e-club discount. My order was delivered to my table with a smile in about four minutes. The sandwich had tasty, crunchy bread, lean meat, and fresh toppings. The soup was creamy, and delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. The price is high for lunch.
Can't go wrong. You can't go wrong at Spin. EVERYTHING IS DELICIOUS!! I love the Sonoma salad and chicken sausage pizza!!

Not NY style pizza, but very nice gourmet style. Love the Goat cheese an Arugula pizza.

Nice food, but spotty service. Don't get me wrong - the waiters weren't rude, slovenly, or neglectful. Rather, we had a couple of funny instances when we dined in house. When ordering, we were corrected on our pronunciation twice ("salsiccia" and "cippolini" if you're interested), although we weren't incorrect to start with. Also, the waiter didn't bring utensils or a plate for our three-year-old, and when we asked for them he first brought utensils without a plate, and then when we requested a plate again, he brought two! Weird. But it's nice to go out and have a nice pizza, with the option to have wine also. We still like this place and will go back, despite our awkward servers! ;)
Everything but..... I like everything about SPIN except the noise level. The urban/industrial look of the place is great...the acoustics are not. The individual size pizzas lets everybody pick their own favorite. The staff is fast and friendly. My grandkids enjoy watching the action in the kitchen.
One of my favorites. I went to Spin! after hearing about it from a co-worker. It is now on my regular rotation. The Leawood location was my first, but have also been to the Plaza & Olathe locations. My favorite is the Chicken Sausage Speciality.
Simply Outstanding Gormet Pizza. Went for lunch with my wife, and we thoroughly loved the pizza! We had the Carni pizza, cucumbers and dip, and the gelatto. The pizza crust is thin and crispy with a crust that is just delicious. The cucumbers and dip were fresh, but not great. The gelatto was a great finishing touch to the whole meal. I definitely recommend this place, but make sure you know what you want when you walk in, because you order before you sit down and the menu is big enough to overwhelm you.
Best gf pizza ever!. Spin pizza is fun, family friendly, and has fabulous food. Their gluten-free pizza is superb.
Love it!. If Im going to eat pizza calories then Spin Pizza is the only pizza that I want. I love the crust, thin and crispy and all the wonderful (not average) toppings are great. Its worth the calories! Although it is a little loud.
Go here instead of Plaza location. Plaza location puts LESS toppings on the pizzas than 119th St location. I will make the extra drive to get more toppings on my spinach/garlic pizza! Mmmmmmmm :)
GREAT, GREAT, GREAT - just GREAT!. You've gotta try it! Love the pizza and the greek salad is my favorite! Our son loves the gelato too! Not like your typical pizza so it's nice for a change!

Great Pizza. Have been to SPIN pizza on several occasions and it is a great place. Can have some vintage vino with your artesian pizza or just good ole pizza and a beer. Atmosphere is a lil noisy but tolerable. Enjoy!!
Slightly Above Average. This casual, contemporary pizza kitchen is always buzzing - usually filled with ladies enjoying lunch out with gal pals. There is a constant high pitched drone of conversation bouncing off the hard-surface walls. In Summer and most evenings, kids add to the din. This is not a place to relax. The food is above average for a pizza joint. The combinations are imaginative and appealing. There are several dishes other than pizza to be had, as well. The pizza crust is thin, crisp, and often singed in the open, gas-fired oven. If you like to chat up friends in a bustling environment or want a place for the kids a notch above fast food, SPIN is for you. If you need to decompress from a hard day spent slaving over a hot keyboard, I think you could find a better option (Pizza Shoppe comes to mind).

This is my wife and my favorite pizza in KC and eat at Spin frequently. The food and service is always consistent at both Leawood and 51st & Main locations. Great place to have dinner with friends at a reasonable price.
The Pizza Mia is a great deal. Spin is consistantly great. I usually order the "Pizza Mia", which includes your choice of a 6" pizza as well as a salad. You are able to choose from any type of their pizza creations or build your own. They have almost 20 types of pizza, split by either red or white sauces. I'm prone to getting their Margherita pizza, which has always been simply delicious.
Every time I have gone, I have ordered their Sonoma salad which has mixed greens with grapes, apples, raisins, goat cheese, and candied pecans in a blood orange vinaigrette. It's a perfect, fresh salad for summer!
This combo runs $8.25, and you can also get it with soup instead of salad.
Really good pizza and salad. I had the meatball red pizza and Greek salad. Urban spoon steered me here on a business trip. Good call!

SPIN! Pizza really knows how to make hungry folks come back for more. A classic twist on the American fav- pizza. I love the fresh non-greasy dough and cool crisp salads. Kyle loves the toppings and atmosphere. Make sure to save room for a fresh scoop of gelato!
SPIN! acquitted themselves very well and it is no wonder they win many "Best Pizza" awards in the Kansas City area. It was an excellent pizza.

This place was fantastic! We got cheese filled meatballs served with a rosemary flatbread appetizer, a half sausage w/carmelized onions and half cheese pizza and to finish it off, the best part (in my opinion š) was the super creamy peanut butter cup gelato. Highly recommend!š
They have a limited menu of pizzas, salad & soups and everything I tried so far is just amazing! I have come here a few times and itās been amazing all the time!!
I also enjoy the gluten free crust! Itās so yummy!
They have great Sangrias. I have tried the blood Orange-White Wine one and itās refreshing!!

1) Although my rating is 5 stars, itād not be my first choice of pizza places to visit (reasons below)
Pros:
1) Cost for restaurant pizza isnāt terrible (average cost of 12 inch pizza is ~$13)
2) Flavors are good (though often itās oil + salt)
3) Nice building/location
Cons:
1) Although I like oil, I know itās not healthy and that some people often have problems with it. Just note that the pizzaās primarily ingredient seems to be oil
2) The crust is very tough compared to what Iād expect for the thinness and oileyness of the pizza
3) Thereās only one thickness of pizza crust: thin
4) Itās somewhere between fast food and restaurant style, so you end up being obligated to tip even thought you donāt really need a server

Info:
1) Iāve grown a bit more favorable towards spin pizza on my second visit - a small 7 inch pizza and a salad is about $10 and is a nice mix of healthy-ish and flavorful
2) This second five cheese pizza isnāt as oily as my first pizza was
3) The crust was pleasant - not too tough or anything
4) The 8 color salad was tasty
So Iāve always loved spin pizza but our experience yesterday was enhanced by the friendly helpful manager (I didnāt get his name) but my 8 month old son was a little fussy until he come over to check on us.. my son went right to him and ended up walking around with him while I finished my food!! Mom and baby were very happy! Thank you!!!
As a person with multiple food allergies, it is very, very hard to find good pizza. I was really intrigued by Spin!ās alternative options with the build-your-own pizza. I sent them a message through Facebook ahead of time, and received a friendly, detailed response in a timely fashion, so that I could make informed decisions. I also have an intolerance to onion and garlic, and unfortunately, the level of garlic used in many of their vegetables and meats ended up being too much for my system, so Spin! may not work for others with the same intolerance. However, it was still nice to enjoy a good-tasting pizza without an allergic reaction. The staff were really open and accepting of my dietary restrictions; I appreciated the empathy and responsiveness in Facebook and in person, when so many restaurants act as if it is a burden to serve those with allergies. If the menu changes to use less garlic in the future, I would definitely want to return.
Wow! This pizza is so good and bold in its flavors. Sausage and apple pizza was delicious. And the crust was something else! (Crunchy and chewy at the same time!) gluten free options available and the taste was right on!
Great pizza! I ordered one of their signature pizza (with baked potatoes and baby spinach) and asked for a well-done crust; the pizza came out exactly as expected, with thin, crispy crust, and fresh toppings.
