Great Custard - Competitive Price. I sneak up to skeeters every chance I get - Cookie dough concrete is my favorite. Its typically half gone before I can get 6 blocks away. Quality custard. Decent prices. a tad more than DQ - but that soft serve ice cream doesnt compare to custard! PERIOD!
Worth the drive!. Every time I drive through St Louis I have to stop at Skeeters! I've been stopping there for 9 years and love it. Its better than Ted Drewes, and you can't beat the prices! I also bring my dog, and you can get a "doggie" cup of frozen yogurt and they put a milkbone on the top of it. The key lime dip cone is my favorite flavor. The concretes are amazing too!

What a great neighborhood gem! We loved the little lawn and picnic tables in the back for our toddler to run around in. For a kiddie cup, a small and a medium 1-topping concrete came out to ~$11. There are dozens of concrete flavors — seriously! We'll definitely be back many times this summer.

Skeeters is a locally owned custard shop. I love to stop by for a tasty treat regardless of the weather.
Its a lil stand with a nice size parking lot and a couple of outdoor tables to eat at. They also have a drive through. They have LOTS of different custard treats. Huge variety of sundaes and concretes on the menu.
My favorite menu item is the strawberry shake. In the summer I like to stop here on my way to the Muny and grab a shake for an early dinner. Their shake is a good thickness and has fresh blended strawberries in it. What sets Skeeters apart from the competition is the straw! Its an extra wide straw! The strawberries even came through it with no problem!!! I'm always delightfully surprised and super impressed with this detail.
Recently I've wanted something a bit smaller but still a treat. My go to is the small strawberry sundae, add hot fudge. It hits the spot!!!
Note that I received a gift certificate for here as a gift over the holidays. However the certificate was for $20 and says you must spend it all at once, no money back. I spoke to the manager on my last visit to ask if there was anything else we can do as it would be hard for me to spend $20 in one visit due to their reasonable pricing. She broke it down into smaller $5 values for me which was awesome! I really appreciated her finding a solution and making it happen.

Awesome Frozen Custard and there are so many flavors you'll find it hard to decide. The best thing also is that if there's a line someone comes out to take your order so you don't have to wait when you get to the window. Furthermore you can create your own flavor and mix of custard and they have coffee and slushies as well! Service is great and so are the hours of business! It's also easy to find. Definitely one of my favorite places to go for custard!!
I have been to many frozen custard businesses around the St. Louis area and I will say Skeeters definitely has the smoothest custard and was most generous with their toppings. They were not over crowded like others and they were extremely efficient despite only being 3 employees(that I could see at least). I've waited much longer at big chains for a worse product and I don't think I will be making that mistake again. Skeeters will be my new go to.
Absolutely the best. Friendly staff and they're fast! This is one of those places I almost wish I didn't know about Now I can't ride by without stopping! The custard is delicious. They have a gazillion different flavors and toppings. And what's best of all is it's very reasonably priced!
Basically the only place I'll go for frozen custard anymore.
