Almost every Saturday for probably 40 years it’s been pizza at/from Mario’s! Pizza sizes have sadly decreased substantially but the taste? Not at all. Love returning to the Mario’s taste I remember growing up. Wings are fantastic. Some places have found what apparently are the
saddest skinniest chickens for their wings. Not Mario’s!
True family restaurant in every respect - from the dining room to the owners (the current owners were just babies!). Some of the waitresses are still there as well. Not sure what could say more about a restaurant. With any luck almost every Saturday for another 20-30 years! (Still remember their phone number from my high school/college years!)
We live about 3 hours from Mario's. We were out driving, exploring a new area and ran across Mario's. We've already said we will drive back to have their pizza again!!! Delicious! If you're local, go there!
Delicious food...wings, pizza, garlic knots. All amazing and cooked perfectly. Such a busy place and well deserved. Highly recommend!
Got the 2 slice special. Should have asked to have them heat it up. Overall great crust and little flop. Sauce was a little sweet but good. Not super greasy like others in the area. Great pizza, and good place to stop to grab a bite.
Great local spot. Everyone gets take out all the time but it's worth eating in too. Great value, great food
The lasagne and meatballs are delicious and home made. The bread basket included warm, cheesy garlic bread and garlic knots as well as sliced Italian bread. Our server was a sweetheart. Looking forward to returning when we’re in the area again!
I just got the best wings I've had in a long time. I'm sad I haven't tried them before today. Not dry, plenty of sauce, and they don't think garlic means garlic powder like Original's. Hats off to the chef!
This has been my favorite go to since I was a child! My mom would always get mad when I was sick, as most people want chicken noodle soup, but not me. I still only ever want Mario's Pizza when I am under the weather! Thank you for being my comfort food all these years and many more to come! Best family owned restaurant in town!
Marios is an awesome place. The staff is always friendly. I think they have some of the best Spaghetti and meatballs around. The Chicken Bacon Ranch on a white pizza is also a great option.
I love this restaurant! The sauce is the BEST I've ever had- NO Kidding! The salads are fresh and crisp. The food arrives quickly and staff is so nice. Bonus-Vegan options too! (vegans love the rigatoni without cheese). Prices are very fair as well.
I've traveled and lived all across this great country of ours, and Mario's Pizza in Owego, NY is the best pizza I've ever had in my entire life. Admittedly, I grew up in Owego but it's not nostalgia speaking, even people from out of state love the pizza here. I've pushed this pizza on out-of-state friends, girlfriends, more girlfriends, etc and they've loved it, too.
I recommend Mario's to everyone, and when the inevitable "best pizza place in the Southern Tier" conversation comes up, I refuse to entertain any other pizzeria than Mario's. Thanks again for staying in Owego, Marios! You're a culinary and cultural staple.
The best Italian family owned restaurant with friendly staff, that treat you like you're family, and serve a delicious home-cooked meals. Be sure to include a slice of peanut butter pie for dessert.

We love Mario’s!!! Have been going there for years and it’s the best pizza in Owego. You can’t get pizza like this anywhere else! Their subs, pasta, and salads are all great too!! Just can’t say enough about the pizza though! Keep it up guys!!
Usually they have really amazing garlic knots but this time they were hard and chewy, probably not fresh 😢
We love Mario’s. I’ve been eating there for as long as I can remember and it never disappoints. This time, we ordered by phone and there was a misunderstanding and our order wasn’t right. They hustled to make it right ASAP and it was great!
