The only reason I'm giving Otani's only two stars is that a friend of mine told me how amazingly wonderful it was. Perhaps the seafood salad isn't the best thing on the menu. That's what I had and it was very underwhelming. My friend and I went there hoping to find something like a Seven Seas salad

I LOVE this place!!! Been coming here since 1974 and the “Shrimp Tempura” has always been my favorite. All menu items are very good, never disappointed. A true Oxnard gem!

Don't dress up because this not a fancy place. Family business. But it has better fish dishes than anyone around. I had fish tacos which were great. Clam chowder and broiled salmon were equally delicious.
