I was looking for something more interesting than the tex mex bbq stuff after day of slot canyons and this hit the bill! I sat at the bar but did order a meal. Good variety of beer and drinks. Place was busy and I could see why. Menu had a nice variety with interesting combination of flavors and influences such as the kimchi taco but I went with the special,Chipotle ribeye. It was great! nice combination of heat but not over powering and with the caramelized pears, squash and Spanish rice. Also came with loaded potato soup which was surprisingly good. Usually not a fan but it was nice and hot(temp) and good flavor with hint of spicyness and a nice slice of bacon. The bartender was friendly and efficient and didn't neglect the waiter part. I did learn he was the owner but I was impressed regardless. only complaint is it would of been nice to have menu on line somewhere.
One of the best meals ever . The beer batter avocados were to die for. The wife had the glazed salmon and I had the Jamaican Jerk chicken. Both were cooked perfectly. The service was to notch.
Went here with my family tonight and we were all blown away. Even with a short staff we had our food in no time at all and every single person we encountered was positive and friendly. All of our meals were delicious! We would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Thank you!
I was drawn in by the pictures on the Google reviews. So glad I followed my gut and decided here. We “flew” to a few other highly rated places nearby but none that seemed to be able to accommodate a meatless diet. State 48 Tavern had a few options outside of my hope for my meal. We walked in and ordered a few drinks off of the cocktail list. The bartender was GREAT! I requested a special hamburger where they used the beer batter avocados instead of meat. It was perfect and so tasty. Highly, recommend this place. My boyfriend ordered the Brie hamburger. THE FRIES WERE WILDLY AMAZING! They almost gave me a salt and vinegar feel. I will always choose sweet potato fries over normal unless I am here. So crispy and crunchy.

Feta cheese had no flavor. Loaded sweet potatoes very okay. They need to use better Feta.
Great experience overall! Trinity was a super fun and energetic waitress and super attentive, too remarks to her. The food was insane, I got the rodeo burger with the fried jalapeños, and you can see in the pictures, it’s just stupid big, and it was cooked perfectly! I wouldn’t necessarily recommend the carne asada fries, they were good, just nothing too spectacular. It’s the spot to go after a long hike!
Friendly staff and 5 stars burger. Salmon tasted nice but sides could be better - “ginger slaw” didn’t seem to have any ginger and “seasonal vegetables” was just brussel sprouts.
Don’t let any bad reviews that you might see here on Google dissuade you from giving State 48 Tavern a try! We were here on a Saturday night and as you can imagine, restaurants and bars in Page are rocking! Needless to say, the bartenders and servers took great care of us with drinks and food. The apps all looked great and we had the Loaded Sweet Potato Fries and what a great combination of flavors! They’ve also got a nice choice of entrees and the Cheese Tortellini was my choice for tonight and it had a nice amount of spice and really tasted great!
This was our first time visiting State 48 Tavern and I know that it won’t be our last! :)
Staff was friendly, food was Delicious! We didn't wait long at all for our meal. I would most definitely recommend!
Nice bar! Good for people hanging out and family time. I had a cowboy burger and a strawberry beer. BTY,I like the BBQ sauce.
