My husband and I ordered the Lava Flow smoothie It was very flavourful with just the right amount of natural sugar. The staff was friendly and offered suggestions on places to see on Paia. The establishment was clean and well kept with two benches to enjoy your dessert. They also sell souvenirs.

Could not love this place more! Perfect start to the road to Hana - a delicious lunch in an adorable, good quality cooler, plus, they have all the other necessities there Incase you forgot something (bug spray, Dramamine, sunscreen, etc). Bonus - they also sell coffee so at 7 am you can get everything you need to start the day! Call ahead the day before by 2 pm to have it all waiting for you :)

I'm so glad we found this place! We ordered sandwiches to bring on one of our long hikes. You can call your order in ahead of time and tell them when you want to pick it up. They'll have your sandwiches wrapped and ready to go. My only suggestion is, if they don't answer the phone just call back 10min later. They do get quite busy before lunchtime. I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty and fresh they are. My favorite was the Italian Sub, which really hit the spot after a long day hiking. It ended up costing about $13/sandwich, but they are much better than what you'd buy at the food market. The staff is also friendly and accommodating.

The guy at the counter is the nicest person! Super happy and helpful. We got some Pina colada smoothies and breakfast croissant sandwiches. Good stop before hitting the road to Hana!

Great option if looking for a picnic! We had plans to watch the sunset on Haleakala and decided to bring a dinner. We stopped into Hana Picnic Lunch Co. in the morning on the way to the beach to see our options. The staff there was friendly and said we could order ahead of time and they would hold the sandwiches for us to pick up later that afternoon before our trip. We were told that they stop making sandwiches at 2pm but would keep ours in the fridge for a pickup after 2pm. The sandwiches were good. We did the combo which included chips and a cookie. Bonus is that it is in the same place as the gelato!

Great sandwiches that are fresh, healthy an delicious. Super accommodating staff who chopped the sandwich through the middle for my kids and only put tomato on one side. Thank you for our yummy lunch.

Hi we went there on the road to Hana. I usually do not like deli sandwiches, however this place totally enchanted me. Friendly lady welcomed us and gave us directions on what to do during our travels. Sandwiches were AMAZING! So fresh and tasty ingredients. MUCH LOVE!

Amazing customer service! Fast and friendly. I love that you can call the store and place an order and they will have it ready for you when you come in the store. My favorite sandwich is the "Big Kahuna", it has roast beef, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, and red onions. Its all made with fresh ingredients! The best smoothie in my opinion is their "Hawaii Rainbow! It tends to get busy around 11am-12pm because people stop here before going to Hana. It is definitely worth checking out!

Has to be the simplest tastiest sandwiches I have ever had! They also have great Gelato here too. This is a popular spot to load up on tasty treats or a box lunch for the long and winding road to Hana or a bike ride to the summit of Haleakala. You can also request packaging the food for your flight home out of Maui.

Our group of 4 picked up sandwiches to take on the Road to Hana. I forget the girl that helped us, but she was extremely friendly and helpful. She went over the menu with us, told us how to do best pack our lunchbox, gave us tips for the Road, and sampled gelato. All of our sandwiches were very tasty!

Their sandwiches are bomb! They make them fresh to order, so you can tell them what you want and don't want on them. I always get the Big Kahuna...it has roast beef with a horse radish mayo and red onions. The smoothies are good too, and same with the sandwiches...custom made if you need it. They also have Kama'aina too. I always call my order in ahead though...It can get busy during the day before everyone heads out to Hana.

I think I saw about 24 different flavors of gelato here... half of them were great non-dairy fruit options such as mango, lime, lemon, strawberry-coconut-papaya, etc. The other half were dairy options which looked awesome, but I wasn't in the mood, so I didn't pay them much attention. The sandwiches looked great, and the gelato is great. There is also a freezer with prepacked pints, if you want to take it home. The only drawbacks? Limited seating and not very available parking in what is a very bustling tourist area. Still good stuff here, though!
