The atmosphere was awesome. The pecan chocolate pie put me in a sugar coma! I tried a bite of my boyfriends icebox lemon and also awesome. The mother and son that run the bakery are so friendly and nice. Loved the lady in the antique shop from Michigan. We talked a while. Just a great place.

Stopped by on our way through town, hubby had strawberry pie, son had chocolate icebox pie and I had coconut meringue. Let me just say these pies are the best of the best. If your in the area you need to stop by for pie you will not be disappointed. This place is awesome, and the guy who served us was so friendly and gracious.

To be honest, I use Oxbow Bakery as the gold standard against which I measure other pies. I admit however, to currently being unable to move past the pecan praline in my efforts to work my way through the menu.

These are good people and they bake marvelous pies. My favorites are strawberry, chocolate, pecan and my very favorite is Coconut 🥥. They are open Thursday - Saturday. Old tyme decor and a craft shop. Eat some there and take some home.

Best pie you’ll ever eat, served with a huge helping of southern hospitality! Pecan praline is my ultimate favorite, then chocolate ice box. Get a whole pie or a slice or two. Either way, you’re guaranteed to come back for more!

The buttermilk pie was to die for. Very cute shop. If you have never been, it's a must stop. We came all the way from Fate Tx.

It was well worth the 2 hour + drive (one way) for the blueberry banana cream pie!! Best pie EVER! The strawberry was good too. I can see why they've been featured in several magazines. Next time we'll bring a cooler to bring some home!

The best pie in all of Texas, the meringue is even Texas sized! The chocolate meringue is my favorite but they are all good!

Our first time here. We found friendly staff and delicious pies. Ate a few pieces in house and took two delicious pies with us. Pecan praline pie was awesome and the cherry cream cheese was just as good. We shall return.

My husband and I arrived there at 1:30pm on Saturday, everything was gone but three slides of lemon pie left. We were so lucky to have two. There were many people still coming on in, but disappointed out. We were sorry for them! I reduced one star for this reason. The slides of Lemon pie looked so so, but Lemon filing was smooth and tangy, we liked very much. My husband did not like the slaty -sweet crunchy crust, but I liked it. if you want to have a piece of pie, harry up! BTW, the antique store was no longer there and moved to downtown.

I’ve been here 3 times trying to buy pie from Tyler! Always sold out and closed. Today was my lucky day! We bought three pies! Chocolate, coconut, and a blueberry banana. It was definitely worth the wait. Crust is flaky and perfect. The filling are just like what my grandma would have made. The blueberry banana is a refrigerator pie,so good! If you have not been please go! This is my go to for pies from now on. Well worth the drive! Price was great also. He did tell me the price would increase due to eggs almost doubling in price. I’ll be back tho!

Best pies in Texas! Make sure to pay attention to their operating hours because I have noticed some reviews complaining about their hours. I suggest coming in the morning because their pies are very popular and may sell out in the afternoon.

Not much to say other than, GET HERE AND GRAB A PIE! OH MY LORD! Pay attention to the hours, people come here quick and buy out the pies! Also, noticing chopped pecans in the crusts. Beware if you are allergic, etc.

I had the Chocolate Pecan pie. It was AMAZING! I actually did a quick video stating I felt like I should do the scene out of When Harry met Sally, it was that good...totally orgasmic! If you looked up food porn in the dictionary...there would be a picture of this pie!! I hear the coconut cream pie was good too...but it couldn't touch the Chocolate Pecan...

Absolutely delicious pies and very friendly staff. The praline pecan pie was unbelievable! 😋 Very limited hours so get there early before they run out! ( We bought 3 pieces and cut them small so we could sample.)

We ALWAYS enjoy visiting the Oxbow! The service is always friendly and the pies are the best ever. They open at 10 AM and are often sold out by noon. Old Town Palistine is always worth the visit! It is a nice antique shopping experience. With two great places to finish out the day to eat, enjoy music and relax
