Good neighborhood bar... Looks like a good neighborhood bar to drink, only ate one time had the turkey club, for me the sandwich was just ok, i'm sure for some it would be good, i think the place has a lot of potential with some small renovations..
Good food!. A little noisy but overall, great food. And we keep going back. They make a great Burger too and Fish Friday is awesome!
Great food! Love the Prime Rib dinner, best wings in town and they do Seafood right. Thurs is wing night.
One of my favorite places to go, had lunch with my girlfriends here. Nice menu, snappy service and excellent food. My corned beef sandwich was delicious, made just how I like it. The other girls all raved about their choices, we will be back!
Wow! Was pleasantly surprised with this one. When we came in I was a tad skeptical since there was a live 1 man band in what looked to be a very happy bar. We found our way around to the hostess stand & were seated in the back for a quieter dinner. The food was AMAZING! I had the Live & Onions & my husband had the ribeye. For being a 10oz steak it was actually a really nice size cut (it could have used a heavier hand with seasoning) but was great. The liver & onions instantly brought me back to childhood memories of my dad & grandma & our dinners together. 10/10 would recommend!!
I'm only giving a 4 on food because my usual go-to meal is the chicken pot pie. The last two times I've ordered the chicken pot pie, it has over the top salty for my taste. Perhaps using a low sodium broth would take care of the problem. The staff have always been friendly and frequently update you on the status of your order. Atmosphere is very nice.
Relaxed atmosphere and good food. Unfortunately, another restaurant touting Beef on Kimmelweck that is fake. We ordered it to see if it was real, but it was just a kaiser roll with salt and caraway seeds. It tasted good but wasn’t correct. The Cheeseburger was delicious too. It may have been the cheese, or the grilled but, but it was superb. The only other issue is the funky tasting iced tea. Or maybe the ice. Anyway, we enjoyed our lunch and will be back.
Came here for a few beers after work. Service was great, beers were awesome. Some of the food looked good but didn't have any. Know what you are getting a super chill classic bar and you will be delighted.
Today at Rodney's I had the best fried Haddock that I ever had. The meal was delicious. Every Friday they have fish and chips....it is worth going on Friday. Our waitress was excellent. She was hoping the cooks, waitresses and a manager. Just the best. Thank you!
I saw on Facebook Saturday morning that Rooney's was going to host a bike night I visited Rooney's back in the 90s and it's still a great restaurant today the parking lot front and back are very large accommodating and for a bike night it was perfect probably 60 or 70 bikes turned out ran into some guys I haven't ridden with in two or three years I got a kick out of them they all remembered oh yeah you're Mark the barber and we had a good laugh and reminisced about some rides past. The band was really good and the system that they have there is very loud actually had to go out into the parking lot to carry on a conversation with some people the their Refrigeration is on point as the beverages were icy cold it was a good turnout in all and the atmosphere was very relaxing I'll make the next one for sure
Took a friend here for lunch for her birthday. Based on this one meal, it DID NOT disappoint. Ordered the FRIDAY fish fry- fried haddock. Breading was just right. Cole slaw was great. Although I prefer shoestring french fries, these were hot and crunchy, the way I ordered them. Will definitely have the haddock again!
Just coming off a cruise my aunt wanted French onion soup. We stopped at Rooney’s. We had the best waiter even though he normally works nights he was awesome we have 2 crock of soup and one salmon sandwich. It was all so good we got more soup to go. Very friendly to us.
Service with a smile and good times! I was disappointed with the Flatbread pizza. The Flatbread itself was prepackaged, blah and lacked an appetizing presentation. Next time I will try the highly recommended fish and chips.

Rooney's is nothing more than a true Palm Bay establishment. We are far from being "regulars". We show up generally on a Friday night about every two weeks. Yet we are immediately recognized. They know we prefer a table to a booth. And they know we are there the haddock fish fry but still bring menus Incase we'd like something else.
The patio area is well shaded and the evening shore breeze ensures it is generally full of customers enjoying meeting with friends and having a relaxing meal and great beverages. Parties of all sizes can be accommodated, as while we were eating a birthday party was setting up, and in another area a family of at least three generations were enjoying being together.
I'll have to take a picture of the menu for submission next time we are there. But suffice it to say, it is typically varied from beef, to poultry, and seafood and their evening specials are actually that, not generally something already on the menu.
I've stated before Rooney's is a wonderful place for a meal. Please stop in, so you can echo that sentiment.
Very well staffed and managed with a caring eye towards service. Great food out of the kitchen. Whatever Florida vibe atmosphere you're looking for is at Rooney's with the inside bar, outside Tiki or casual dining booths and tables, large groups or singles can be accommodated. Large menu all good. Thanks Rooney's !!
Best neighborhood bar in Palm Bay. Dinner was great large portions made with love! Atmosphere amazing. Staff and especially outside bartenders over the top !

Wow was Rooney's busy tonight, but between it all our incredible waiter Jarrod more than got the job done! Ms. Sandy was on top of it got us seated right away and our drink order in before Jarrod could say good evening! Had the Wings tonight they my friends are the most amazing wings I have ever had. BIG JUICY MEATY....you can't go wrong ordering them! A crazy busy night for waitstaff but you would never know it by the way we were taken care of! Thank you Ms. Sandy and as always Jarrod your amazing!

This was our first time here and will definitely be back. This was a perfect place to spend time on St. Patrick's day. All around us were enjoying the corned beef and cabbage, burgers and awesome looking wings. And of course green beer or Guinness was everywhere! The inside was full but we discovered their outside patio bar and dining. The employees inside and out were having fun and on top of their game with such a crowd. All I can say is what a great time there!
