We enjoyed a good breakfast at the French Corner Cafe. We had Eggs and ham croissants with fresh fruit. Portions are generous. The atmosphere is very French and cozy. There are fresh bakery items available. Well worth a visit.

Insanely delicious and awesome restaurant. The pastry chef is the real-deal from France. Food is amazing and one of the best restaurants in the palm desert area. Came here over Thanksgiving with some friends. Have been coming here for years and I am happy to see that the food quality has been retained. Highly recommend the eggs benedict and the macarons, are those are some of my favorites. Food - 17/20 Ambience - 6/10 Service - 9/10 Total - 32/40

French Corner is a cafè-bakery-restaurant providing a transformative ambience and food experience that transports you to France. The staff are delightful, and the food is French-American fusion. Pastries are made with skill and love, and no matter what you order, you’ll realize that it’s not entirely about the food, but the comfortable place the provides an energetic hug with cozy chairs and booths. If you’re a tightly-wound food connoisseur, you might miss the magic of this place, with its fresh squeezed orange juice, crepes, and cutlery. Perfect place to meet a friend and dive into conversation, as they don’t hustle you out while you’re eating. Love this place!

Great selection of couques (Pasteries). Feels exactly like going to the bakery on a Sunday morning in Belgium or France

I’ve just discovered this wonderful place! The food is beautifully prepared and presented. The quality is evident in every bite. We enjoyed chocolate banana & strawberry crepes. We also bought some French table linens and a set of 6-steak knives by Jean Dubost, Laguiole. They also have a lovely bakery and many products from France. You don’t need an airline ticket to have a memorable meal in Paris. 🇫🇷 Bon Appetite! 👏

This little French bistro has a nice variety of different French dishes for lunch as well as dinner. Even though the meals are fulfilling, you will not be able to say no to the vast and wonderful looking French pastries. They are very well worth a sin. The staff was beryllium and friendly. The interior is spacious.

Fantastic breakfast at this lovely French bakery/cafe. We ate outside in a lovely shaded area. Service excellent, food outstanding. One had the croissant breakfast and the other the amazing strawberry crepe. Will return here the next time we pass through the area.

I love this place and make it a habit to come and support this little corner that France has occupied to provide us with genuine French cuisine. If you are a resident or a visitor to the Coachella Valley, this Cafe is a must go and should be added as a regular place to visit. Everything is from scratch and they work tirelessly from the early morning to provide us with authenticity while still maintaining a smile and mannered service. The energy of this place is "We care, and we love food." You can feel it the moment you walk in and it carries through to the moment you walk out the door. I reccomend anything made with a croissant as they are housemade and buttery, their well seasoned potatos, and their bittersweet French hot cocoa. Finally, if you don't get or leave with a dessert, you've done yourself a disservice.

It’s obvious that the French Corner is sensational because it is always busy, but what endorses its authenticity is the number of French people that go there on a regular basis. Run by a husband and wife team, the cafe has the energy of a family business that is beloved by its owners and cherished by its community. I went there on a breakfast date on Saturday, May 1, 202, and was very impressed by all of it. I know that I should have had something a little more representative of French cuisine, but they had corn beef hash on the menu which is something I can never resist. My friend (who happens to be French) ordered Crepe Maison which he allowed me to try. The Crepe Maison was unbelievably good, making me wish I would have ordered it myself. The menu is by no means limited so there is something that suits everyone’s taste. The cafe is very prideful of preparing dishes that are culturally authentic so the meals do take a little longer to prepare than other restaurants, but everything they make is well worth the wait. I need to watch my sugar intake so it was torture for me to look at the many delectable pastries at the counter which included eclairs, berry tarts, creme brulee, and macarons to name a few. They seemed to be aware of my dilemma (which is not uniquely mine) and have miniature creations of many of their treats including bite size eclairs. I greatly appreciated the miniature eclairs because I was allowed to indulge myself with a taste of the sinful cream filled, chocolate pastry without overdoing it. For a better idea of the mouthwatering delicacies in the glass showcase at the counter, visit their website which gives a broader view of what they have available. The French Corner does serve lunch and dinner as well, but remember that it is located in Palm Desert so summer hours are shorter because of the grueling heat that the Coachella Valley is known for. No French dinner would be complete without a lovely wine from France to accompany it and the cafe does not disappoint there either. The wine selection isn’t necessarily extensive, but everything on the wine list pairs nicely with their entrees. The vibe of the French Corner is very relaxed and comfortable so if you’ve always been curious about French cuisine or if you’re an expert, this is the place for you. In addition to its cute indoor dining area, the cafe also has a quaint patio that is nothing less than adorable. Prices are reasonable so it is a great place to take your family as well as a charming place to go on a romantic date. I would highly recommend this cafe to anyone who wants to sit back and enjoy good food in a delightful environment.

A French oasis in the desert! Great food with authentic atmosphere, and a very friendly family run business. They take the time to buy their own groceries to run the kitchen and the food reflects the care and attention they put in. I usually come for breakfast or lunch and the crepes are perfect and delicious everytime. I recommend this lovely oasis to any one passing through or if you're local and have never been. You'll be transported by these wonderful and warm people and their magnificent fare.

First time here, did not dine in. I ordered a chocolate croissant to go which was really good, but it was $5.95 for one. Great atmosphere and they had a good crowd and more coming. I will return to try the food, it looked, and smelled great.
