The place has a nice terrace, but we could not enjoy it due to sand storm nearby. The dishes that we ordered did not taste fresh unfortunately, we did not enjoy them at all. We actually ended up with canceling our main courses due to lack of trust after taxing a few appetizers and soups. The only reason experience is 4 stars - the waiter pulled the place off low ratings with her willingness to help around. Will never come back there but point out their best customer service, which we appreciated with generous tip.

It’s really 3.5 stars, but I didn’t have that option. We dined inside and the atmosphere nice. The host (manager?) was a little pretentious at first, but the waitress was wonderful. We sat at a fairly large table for just 2 people, which was nice. One of our bread plates was used and completely filthy, but after pointing that out, our host (which is why I say manager) brought us each a small plate sample of the wood fired shrimp on mashed potatoes to make up for the disgusting plate. The food was well made, but having so much paprika on my lobster tail was a bit of a turn off for me. Admittedly, my husband liked it that way because it was different for him. In the end, they overcharged us $13 and I had to ask for a reprinted check. Our two meals (with tip, no drinks) came to over $180, so I supposed I expected better all the way around. Doubt I’ll return, but it wasn’t awful either.

Dinner was great and gluten free options were labeled! The manager was super helpful when we ran into some hiccups. Would recommend this place to people visiting the area. Delicious!

Such an enjoyable dinner on the covered patio w/heater in the booth. The food was spectacular; we enjoyed an appetizer of Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Medjool Dates; 1/2 portion for dinner of Chilean Seabass & Shrimp Scampi. The shrimp could be considered large! Our waiter, Sam, was tremendous. The hostess was so certain we would enjoy the outside patio & she was right!

I used to live here in Palm Desert and it's been 15 years since I've been back. Pacifica was my favorite spot and it still is. They've always had the best calamari and the twin lobster tails melt in your mouth. On top of the food, the atmosphere is amazing with brilliant desert views from the outdoor patio and the service is top notch (shout out to Roxanne). Can't wait to come back!

I had the sunset dinner with butternut squash soup and sugar spiced salmon, which were delightful. A friend had the insalata pacifica with the same salmon and clam chowder. Both were also excellent. We had a table with a great view of the street bustle, mountains and sunset skies. Service was excellent, ambience impeccable and overall quality unquestioned. This place is not to be missed. This was my third visit altogether.

Not too bad. Great drinks but the short rib is too dry and the scallops taste a little funny... We will be back to try it again. Maybe it was just an off night. Service was really good and the manager was very attentive. We never mentioned anything about the food. Our bad!

This is a great seafood restaurant for happy hour. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks with a couple of appetizers. The sea bass ceviche is to die for! And the glazed salmon makes a great light dinner!

Service was awesome. Staff were all attentive and friendly! Food was delicious. I ordered Seafood Stew. It reminded me of one of my favorite dishes of all time, Cioppino. The fish and broth were all super tasty! My husband ordered the Seabass and it was prepared beautifully. Next time we visit, we'll definitely be back.

Came here not too long ago. I had eaten at Mastros the day before. I have to say that I prefer pacifica much better than mastros. Not only is the food tastier, but also 1/3 the cost. It might be unassuming, but appearances can be deceiving. Everything was super tasty - notably their fish and tuna tartare. Appetizers were great as well. Food - 17/20 Atmosphere - 6/10 Service - 6/10 Total - 29/40

Came here for a special birthday dinner for my bf. When I made the reservations, the website did ask if it was for a special occassion. When we checked in the host handed me a birthday card to which I of course handed it to my bf. It was a card which also offered a $10 coupon off our next visit. From the start everyone was so friendly. I can not stop gushing over our server. I wish i would have gotten his name to properly shout him out. He just had such a wonderful personality and checked in on us a perfect times. As this was a special occasion I decided to try one of their cocktails so I got the Blackberry Smash, which I believe the alcohol used was whiskey. Well I'll admit I'm not the biggest drinker, so at first taste... it was a no go for me. Very strong alcohol flavor. My bf recommended I send it back and request a different drink. But I'm not that kind of person, I've never sent anything back. So we continued on to order our meals. We got the mulligatwany soup to share. DELICIOUS! So good, I'm mad I was sharing it with my bf. It had a wonderful curry flavor. While we waited for the main course, our server came to check in on us and ask about our drinks, my bf was happy with his kettle one mule. And the serve could see my drink was particularly untouched. That's when my bf spoke up and mentioned that yes it was not to my liking. Without and hesitation my server said no problem we'll take care of you and he recommended their double berry lemonade. And my what a difference that was; it was light and refreshing and much more to my liking. For the main course I got the full order (6oz) pan seared Chilean Seabass over bok choy and coconut rice. The seabass was perfectly cooked. So tender and flaky with a beautiful crust. The coconut rice right under the seabass was full of flavor. And the soy glazed bok choy added a nice earthiness to the dish. It was love at first taste. My bf got the full order of the swordfish. The first steak was so meaty! Again perfectly cooked and accompanied by a fresh corn salsa and vibrant avocado mash. Both dishes were phenomenal! As for dessert we shared the mocha semifreddo. It was light and decadent at the same time. We truly enjoyed our meal and the exceptional service. This is definitely a place we will have to come back and try. Highly recommend it!
