This was a wonderful find. After going to Olive Garden and finding out the wait was 2 1/2 hours we looked on Yelp and found this place . Family run and let me tell you they are doing it right. The wait staff was spot on and Johnny on the spot with everything. The food was some of the best I have ever had at an Italian restaurant and I have been to Italy . Can’t say enough just a wonderful place and we will be back.
Mimmo's restaurant and bar in Palm desert is the restaurant families dream about going to. It is an incredibly delicious experience from osso bucci to veal scallapini to sand dabs to award-worthy pasta and meatballs and so much more. We just can't make ourselves dine anywhere else in the Coachella valley when our taste buds are ready to return to dining paradise. Excellent service too A+++!!

Food consistently great as always and service was perfect this night.
What a great find! Definitely will go back more than once or twice! The staff was extremely friendly. The hostess greeted us at the door to hold the door open for my boss while I parked the car. Food was great, although the one negative comment I have is , you're an Italian restaurant, people want pasta, and to charge $5 extra for a side of pasta with a main course is not cool! I would have gladly said no to the two sides offered in place of pasta!
Other than that, excellent!!!!!

Great food and service, the waiter was a fun guy. The deserts were exceptional. Four Vines "Old Vine" Zin at $36 is a real deal.
The bartender was phenomenal. Lalo knew all the drinks known to man and how to make them he even made his own blend that my husband enjoyed very much.
Food was fabulously delicious. The homemade pesto sauce and bread, the mushroom sauce on the veal chop and the calamari were amazing. It was our first time there and will be making it a regular visit. Thank you
Excellent service and food was delicious. The best linguine with clams in white wine sauce. Eggplant Parmesan was also great. Fine dining experience in cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended.

I think I walked in through the wrong entrance. However, I was still greeted with kindness and wasn't told where the entrance is. I was seated right away amd greeted by my waiter right away as well. I am happy with the service. I do like the ambient atmosphere. The outside patio is completely enclosed, however I was seated inside, which I prefer since it is winter and very cold outside.
For appetizer, I had the Mediterranean salad- it was great! I finished it. It's on the sweeter side and it had pickled red onions. I'm use to eating it with regular red onions, which I love, however, this salad was exceptionally good.
They brought me a complimentary bread with olives on olive oil. Which to me was tasty.
I had the seafood Linguini all'Isolana with red sauce. For me it had a good balance of taste, but of course I like to add a sprinkle of black pepper with a few bites.( really, you do not need to) However, with or without adding anything to it, I recommend you try it if you like pasta with seafood. I love seafood. Yes, I finished my meal. Cleaned my plate completely.😊
I had 2 glasses of red wine that went well with my dinner. I am satisfied.

Traditional Italian restaurant, great services, large and comfortable facility. We enjoyed the bean soup and the burrata salad. The steak was unfortunately, not impressive, lacked flavor. The seafood pasta was reasonably good.
Nice surprise! Service was outstanding. VERY knowledgeable waiter, confident and attentive. Had their homemade pasta which was very fresh. Burrata salad melted in my mouth. Not rushed and not too slow. Prices not outrageous for this area. Found new Italian spot.
Very good food, and honestly the best Italian I've had in the area so far.
Been here twice now, we had the same waiter both times and he really understands the menu. You can tell he really enjoys the food they serve, it shows in the way he describes the dishes and specials.

We came on a Friday night and definitely recommend making reservations before hand. The restaurant was packed and service was a bit slow. However, food was delicious and portion size was just right.
Excellent!! We sat on the patio and had a great meal. Shared the burrata and tomato salad with balsamic. It was very tasty. Cheese was super fresh and the tomatoes had tons of flavor. I have the crab ravioli with vodka sauce. Super yummy!! Finished with the cream brulee and profiteroles...both very delicious!!!

Music perfect because alot of people and the sound was loud enough and type of music was perfect for fine dining that it soften the sound
And of course the food was so good we just didn't care

The exterior of Mimmo’s isn’t fancy but when you walk inside it’s got a great vibe. I visited on a weeknight and it was full of locals - always a good sign. Ironically, a friend of mine was there the same night. Her party had an awesome time at the bar. My group sat on the patio, which was a perfect spot to catch up. The food and wine was good, as was the service. Servers were attentive and friendly. Portions were large, you will not leave hungry. The bolognese was delicious. If you’re craving Italian food, you won’t be disappointed.
Very tasty pasta, good salad and nice Pinot Grigio. Prices are comparable to other similar restaurants. Service was exceptional and friendly for all staff. The main waiter was especially good cordial, informative but not pushy. Highly recommend.
By far the best Italian restaurant. The staff was delightful, food melts in your mouth and worth every cent. We'll be back!
We had a wonderful meal. Cesar Salad mushroom soup with truffle oil pasta al pesto and veal piccata. The service was fantastic the food amazing. I would consider thus a casual setting.
There was 4 of us dining-it was the last of our vacation days-and we’re so happy that we pick this place-the food was excellent-started with a Caesar salad -2 of us had chicken parmigiana-1 chicken cacciatore and 1 crab raviolis -along bread with olive spread with oil—we shared a carrot cake and gelato with a pear plus my lemon martini was so good too-the service was great-I would highly recommend this place
First time here, mushroom soup was really good. Not so sure about the pasta although the scallops are very fresh. Would go back to try something else.
