This is the best Thai food place I have been to in Southern California so far. I went to Thailand 5 years ago and discovered their food is on top of my lists. The lady owner cooked so differently than other staff. She's the best of all Thai cooks, I think. We went to this place multiple times every time we were in town. We are lucky to have her cooking most of the time. There are times that the lady is not available to cook, and it's a little disappointing, but still good. I just prefer her cooking, though, so unique and taste different than other Thai restaurants I went to. Take note, we always go to restaurants to explore foods and the lady's food is on top. Green curry and pad thai are the best for me.

Enjoyed the red curry tofu...sauce and veges were great, but the soft tofu, itself, had a "watery" consistency and flavor. Overall the dish was good, but not great., My friend very much enjoyed the pineapple fried rice. Our server was attentive. Note that while the interior is clean and nice enough, it's a strip mall location and kinda has that feeling, vs a "dinner house" feel. More casual. This teview is only based on one meal, and I think it's worth visiting again to try other dishes, too.

I brought home Chicken in Spicy Peanut Sauce and and Cream Cheese Crab Langoon. Both are quite tasty and servings are enough for 2-3 meals for one person. Looking forward to trying other dishes soon.

This is THE BEST Thai restaurant ever, and we have been to many! Fresh, crispy vegetables, rich flavor, ample options for vegan, vegetarian, and meat eaters alike. Friendly owners/staff, comfortable, cool, enjoyable setting. We will be coming back frequently!

I have a vacation rental across the street, and blue orchid is always on the short list of recommendations in Palm Desert! The food is tasty and fresh, if a little bit pricy.

Presentation was very good, as was the service on a quiet Friday early afternoon. Food was good. Portion size was reasonable. No lunch specials.

Excellent Thai food, friendly wait staff and owners. I’ve always had a great experience here. The drunken noodles (spicy) are a must try! Also the lemon grass chicken skewers and their curries are on point. I went for my birthday dinner and we received complimentary green tea ice cream 😋

Their lunch specials are reasonably priced. The portions aren't like a "wow, I'm stuffed" but satisfying and tasty. Staff is polite and I never had to ask for a refill on my drink. I would come back 😊

I got the Pad Thai and Thai tea for lunch nice portion. Calm quiet space.
It is also a date spot I came by myself but many others brought their family or significant other to eat at this place.
Nice looking bathroom as well encompassed the overall Thai theme

Arguably the best Thai in the valley. Well prepared food that isn't over spiced. Staff is friendly and attentive. Loved the stuffed chicken wing app!! At a medium price point it's affordable with generous portions. Visible from the main road but tricky to get to.

Don't eat the eggrolls. I love eggrolls, but found these very unsatisfactory, filled with something that resembled dogfood in texture. The manager was unwilling to accept my complaint or give me a substitute. Overall, the restaurant seems average, nothing great. The waiters are deficient in language skills. I'll never go back.

Very bad experience. Food is Good but service is horrible. They made a mistake in our order three times weren't really sorry about it. We usually don't complain but when they bring you meat in your food despite telling them repeatedly that everything vegetarian, either they aren't paying attention or don't care. In both cases it's pretty bad. We won't be going there again.
