The food is excellent and the atmosphere is welcoming and definitely local. We came back several times. Papacito, California burrito, chicken enchiladas, and Al pastor quesadilla are all great!

Small quaint Mexican restaurant that is reasonably priced and taste good. My family of 6 enjoyed all that was ordered. Chips and salsa are not free but only cost $1 for a basket. Nice atmosphere with Mexican music playing in the background. We liked the food so much, especially the flan, that we ate here once more the for dinner, and had the same experience as we did for lunch. Service was very good and attentive, like being served by a family member.

Great people- awesome crew members great team and excellent kitchen staff. I ordered Green chicken enchiladas and were delicious. Local community love to taste the flavors of the recipes as your mom prepared the meal.🇲🇽

Came here while on vacation. I was looking for "real" Mexican food. This was the spot! Made ne feel like I was being fed by someone's abuela. The food and atmosphere was great. I had the fried fish which I turned into fish tacos and ny daughter had the birria tacos.

Small and unassuming Mexican restaurant with delicious food and friendly faces. We had tacos pastore and a giant fried mahi taco, and a large plate of delicious nachos. Homemade food made with effort and flair. Many local latinos came and went while we drank cold beer and enjoyed our food. The best we've found yet in Desert Springs.

This place was an unexpected surprise! The food was authentic and awesome! My Chimichanga was the size of my head, and delicious! My husband had enchiladas. He loved them as well as the rice and beans. The best rice we have found since moving to the Coachella Valley from Colorado. Update: we were so excited to go back to this restaurant, but our second experience wasn’t as great. We waited in line, but realized we could be seated and they would take our order as the line was not moving. Even asked the waitress. However, after we sat down the waitress proceeded to take the orders of the many people in line and never returned. We had to wait a very long time to get waited on and get out food. They definitely need more help. The food was good, but not as good as the first time. Especially as they got my husbands order wrong. But we’ll definitely give them another try when we’re in the area, but will order from the window before sitting down!
