I always come here when I visit Palm Springs California. The food is always good as are the prices compared to other places in town. I get the chicken fried steak and eggs with an iced tea.

Order at the front ... Don't just sit down. They give you a number and your food will be brought to you once you sit down at a random table after you order and pay. Bring cash to tip. Very fun vibe. The food is special too. I had the sourdough bacon burger... Amazing,
The portions were very large for the cost of the meal. It was nice to see John over seeing the whole process and even helping out. it is definitely a place the locals enjoy. The service I will admit at this visit was lacking and hence why not a 5 star.
Great breakfast food and service. We're from out of town... found this place randomly on Google maps by our hotel. So glad we did... super affordable and very good. The service was spot on too.

Decent Diner food. Fast and friendly service. Free coffee refills with my breakfast. A bit pricy but then so is everything right now. $16 for my breakfast with coffee. Fried potatoes, eggs, veggies topped with a ton of cheese. It was a HUGE portion so maybe split your meal? I will do that next time
Go there when were on vacation. All their food is good. My favorite is their breakfast food their chorizo and eggs with hash browns are delious.The staff is very nice and always comes to refill our drinks ask us if everything is ok. The service is fast when you order . I will be being going back. up
Hands down the best omelets in the valley!!! They are always moist and fluffy and never dry. I recommend the Greek omelet, I add bell pepper and onion and it has the best flavor profile. My son and I had breakfast at John's. The food is excellent and the service is great and the prices are fair. The quality and quantity of the meal is great. We will definitely go back.
We meet up here occasionally and the food is good, the service is great and prompt. Always courteous and hospitable. We enjoy coming back and meeting up here from time to time and will continue to do so hopefully for many years to come 👍🏽
