Great food, entertainment, and service in a historic club. The Michael Holmes Trio was wonderful and played a delightful selection of classics. A great venue with a variety of shows 7 nights a week. 50-60 years ago men wore dinner jackets and ladies dressed in their finest cocktail dresses. Dress code is dressy casual. Frank & Ava, Lucy & Desi and the Rat Pack were the crowd back in the day. Not to be missed!

What a great place! Service could not have been better, our waiter John was fantastic, the music was so good, the overall vibe was relaxed and fun and the food was perfection. We are coming back here as soon as we hit palm springs again, loved it!

The room is great. Food was good, drink wasn’t bad. (I do have an odd complaint: all 3 of us at our table felt the water brought for drinking had a strong metallic aftertaste. )

Had a fantastic evening here last Wednesday. The food was great and the service was exceptional. The entertainment from Michael and his band was top class from start to finish. They also took the time to come around all talk to the guests throughout the evening, a touch of class shown by all involved. We travelled to Palm Springs from the UK and we both agreed we would find it difficult to experience another night as good as this during our whole stay. Fantastic!!!

Hidden in this Desert is the most wonderful club called the Purple Room. I am blown away by the talent and the food was great and serviced excellent. I will go again and again. So glad I found it and The Judy Show. Holmes is incredible.

LOVE, LOVE this place!! It is old-school dining and entertainment. It has an elegant flair, and the dinner and cocktails are superb. Elvis was fantastic....although he had the look and the moves, he paid tribute to the King in such a special way. Next time I go, I hear the Judy show is a must. We were happy to meet Michael at the end of the show, when he visited our table. Thank you, Michael, for creating a place for old memories to be rekindled. So nostalgic!!! A must!!

We had to much fun ring side table was fantastic for me I snapped many beautiful pictures. It was so nice meeting Michael Holmes, sipping Tequila after the club closed. The show was amazing what a showman. Dinner was 10 stars, the Margaritas were so tasty. If in Palm Springs California it has to me on must see list. The history of the place WOW. The Rat Pack was born on their stage.

What a great place to take visitors for that old Palm Springs kind of entertainment. I went for Thanksgiving dinner and had a wonderful time with friends while listening to good jazz music, and also while enjoying the best Old Fashioned I've ever. I will definitely visit again.

Wow, what an experience. We bought tickets to a special performance by Kinsey Sicks without knowing much about the Purple Room other than what we had read online. It was a truly special experience. Lots of places in PS talk about delivering old school swank but this place truly delivers. We split a bottle of wine and had the sole and pork both were delicious. Somehow the staff manages to serve the entire room without rushing and have the room finished and ready to fully concentrate on the artists for an 8:00 show. Kinsey Sicks was outstanding — we laughed until we cried, and enjoyed their unbelievable voices. We will 100% come back and tell everyone we know to come here.

The food was good. Service was efficient and good. The entertainer Carole Bufford was fantastic and sang a very diverse repertoire of songs from the 1920s to the 2020s.

Classic supper club atmosphere with more of a dark, speakeasy feel. Live musical performer was great. Cocktails were maybe the best I've ever had! 🍸 Food was good as well. Service could've been better, however. Server took a LONG time to take our order (about 40 min. and after orders for tables seated after us) and we were charged for an item we didn't order. When we asked our server about it, there wasn't an apology and she said she already ran our card so paid us in cash for the mistaken item instead. Seemed a little improper and the reaction to the error isn't what I'd expect.

We had a great time with dinner and a show. Service was knowledgeable and the right level of attentiveness. The risotto appetizer was amazing. All of the food was good and we really enjoyed.

Delicious food, nice upscale experience and the staff is perfect. Peter was our bartender and server. Fabulous cocktails

We arrived for the happy hour and we were not disappointed. The piano player was terrific and the company was just as much fun. We had a few happy hour munchies including shrimp cocktail and Caesar salad

Great venue! Valentine's at the Purple Room with live jazz show was perfect. From the point of being greeted at the door and taken to our table the entire evening was fabulous. John our server gave us good recommendations on drinks and dinner menu, he was extremely professional and made us feel welcomed with no rush. The Jazz singer and her band spot on from her voice to the instrumental playing. Perfect evening would go back again. Thank you

Put on a clean shirt and comb your hair. We expected slightly dusty, neighborhood casual. Instead the Purple Room felt like we were treating ourselves to a special event. There are lots of staff, all respectful and professional, the food was good, freshly prepared and nicely presented. We were there for happy hour on a Wednesday. Get there at 4 if you want to be sure of a seat. The cocktails were very good and the bartenders fun to watch. A pianist played delightfully and the room is perfectly suited to conversation and comradery.

Easy reservation process via Open Table. Called Purple Room to push back our reservation by 30min and they were very accommodating. Always great weekly line-up with fun and personable entertainers. 2nd time back so we are repeat customers. Saw the Wed night Rat Pack show this time. Greeted with a smile and a hello. Had a great table in main dining area. Bartenders make delicious cocktails. Our waitress Ali took good care of us. Meals never disappoint here. Highly recommend.

If you like great jazz music and great food and drinks in a place that has an amazing history and classy but casual ambiance, this is the place to go in Palm Springs! We have been to the Purple Room for Happy Hour drinks and piano music duand jazz shows on weeknights, and theet, Club music shows on the weekends, also. We have always been amazed with their great service, yummy drinks (especially at Happy Hour prices!!), and the fantastic and well presented food. Unlike most other dinner clubs that we have been to in the past, the Purple Room has a lot of great menu choices (even for us vegetarians…), and the food is always consistently great. We have never been disappointed! Be sure to make your reservation for the weekend shows well in advance, because they sell out quickly. Even on weeknights, the restaurant area is often completely full by showtime. Also, the earlier that you make your reservation, the better seating that you will get, closer to the stage. Another pointer…. Arrive before 6 PM, if you have dinner reservations, to get a drink or two at Happy Hour prices! It’s a little gem on the South Side of Palm Springs with a “Rat Pack” history that makes it special. Just don’t miss out on visiting here!

Honestly this place just rules- it is such a fun encapsulation of some of the vibe Palm Springs is famous for. You get the classic jazz supper club vibe, combined with really attentive and friendly service, tasty traditional dishes and great cocktails. Overall it’s just a really enjoyable atmosphere to hang out in, whether from a back booth ducking in to catch a slice of the show or from a table up front close to the stage. This is sort of the antithesis of the modern hype Instagram-driven spots like the hotel next door; that is why it is great.

Delicious food and mixed drinks that were served quickly despite the place being busy. Small and intimate venue, the jazz trio was very talented, and we sat close enough to feel like a part of the show and were still able to talk to each other. High end and high prices, worth it for the experience.

Food was great. Service was great. I tried the short rib and chicken. Both good but short Rib needed some greens or veggies to break it up. Good wine selection. Free bread would be a nice touch. There was a guy and a girl doing rat pack hits when we went and they were decent but then the house band did feeling good and I think they were even better.

Old school supper club, owner Michael was so nice and told amazing stories of Sinatra. Great drinks, delicious food, and awesome atmosphere. Felt transported if only for a few hours. Can’t wait to go back and wish we had something like this at home.
