Totally unique menu- don't skip the matzo brei! It was delicious, rivalling my mom's (don't tell her!). Great bakery options, too.

I actually heard about this place from Guy Fieri on his show Diners drive-ins and Dives. And man, it doesn't disappoint. Service was great, and the food had no business being that good from a "deli/bakery." I had the French toast, and wow, u can totally tell that bread was like today fresh. And their hashbrowns were perfect, and they had a nice little bed of "crunch" on top with soft chewy potatoes under the hood. The kids menu is very generous, too, for those of u who have families like myself. It is definitely a local spot but, tourist are welcomed too. If you're into deli diner food and are in the Coachella Valley, then treat yourself to this joint. u won't regret it.

Service was outstanding. Food was good :) I’m not a fan of steak fries so that’s on me - too bland, no seasoning - big chunks of potato strips. The Reuben was delish! The sauerkraut to corn beef portion could’ve use a little help - but the portion was huge… which I guess makes up for the $22 sandwich.

Came here for lunch on a recommendation, and had a good meal with good service. I started with a bowl of their New England clam chowder. It was a heaping bowl that tasted very good. Only $4 up charge with my meal: Fish & Chips. The meal came with four pieces of Cod, steak fries, and coleslaw. The Cod was very good - lemon 🍋 and malt vinegar to taste. The tartar sauce was the only part that I had found awful. No flavor other than mayonnaise. The fries were ok. I loved their coleslaw. It reminded me of the coleslaw my mother use to make. I wrapped the leftovers ‘To Go,’ and ordered a slice of the coconut cake. The slice is HUGE! It was very good, and I had to box the rest ‘To Go.’ With the meal, drinks, and dessert my tab after tax was a little more than $41. A good value for all that I had. If ever I’m passing through CA on I-10 again, I’ll take a detour to stop here again. The place reminded me of Omega Restaurant back in Niles, IL.

This wonderful place was next door to our wonderful hotel and I’m sad I didn’t find it earlier. Large sandwiches!! With pages and pages of menu items to choose from. I had the beef dip with brisket and it was soooo tender, coleslaw was good too. Not a fan of the fries but that’s a personal preference thing. Service was efficient and quick. $45 for 2 sandwiches, no drinks

We usually go to Shermans Deli and I was so happy to have found this place. It’s a typical deli but with modern décor. I really enjoyed the color scheme although the deli area isn’t as busy as Shermans the food was very good. The prices are the same, the pastrami juicy, flavorful, the rye fresh and the fries super crispy, ask for ranch because I am sure they make that in house! Missing a star for slow customer service…..

First time in Manhattan, though not first time in Palm Springs. We’ve been coming to PS on a regular basis throughout the year, but never tried this place til this trip. Very expansive menu, everything was delicious, service was lovely. My husband had the turkey sandwich (Ortega turkey), which he loved, and I robbed a lot of the super crispy fries off his plate. I substituted the bread on my BLT with latkes for an upcharge. WOW, it was SO delicious!!! Highly recommend doing that! Nice plate of pickles w delicious saurkraut before our order came. Then we got florentines and macaroons (yummmmmy) from the case before we left. Seems very local. We will definitely be coming back and keep this in our restaurant rotation.

Fantastic breakfast or brunch! The bacon and eggs combo was a delicious choice for just trying this place for the first time. You can tell a lot about a cook based on how they make their eggs; perfect here. The bacon was super crispy and full of flavor. The house potatoes were the clear winner here; not only very well cooked with bell peppers and onions, these were also seasoned great too. The potatoes were soft on the inside and lightly crispy on the outside. The bagel was toasted and soft and came with really soft cream cheese. The service here was too notch! The perfect blend of helpful and non-intrusive. Super friendly and fast. Can't wait to come back for more; so many great options try.

We've been coming to Manhattan in the Desert for a few years now and no visit to Palm Springs is complete without breakfast "in Manhattan". I love the Quesadilla Rancheros and my husband consistently orders a traditional bacon eggs and hash browns combo with a toasted cream cheese bagel. We are always full and happy! Our teen boys are also thrilled with the portion size, pace of service (fast), and options. New ownership (?) has brought a cosmetic refresh to the patio and interiors -- but nothing has been lost in the experience as so often happens. As always....we'll be back!

Combo corned beef/pastrami sandwich was great. Potato salad was killer, one of the best I’ve had after mom’s of course. Only ate 1/2 my sandwich and bought another scoop of potato salad to take away either it. Wanted to try breakfast here but they didn’t open until 9:00 so we went elsewhere as we had plans.

Esmeralda and Jose tool great care of us! Overall great service and food was pretty good too. As far as something that would stand out, not really. Food portions are generous and it's enough to have a second snack especially if your having dessert. Place looks clean, lots of seat both inside and out. Food takes a bit to come out but worth the wait.

Additional visit and subsequent review; 03/24/23 Visited again, this time with my Border Collie/Shepherd mix. We were welcomed without hesitation. Beautiful day for patio seating... Had my "usual", a #47 with Swiss cheese and a burger patty for my pup. Both thought our meals were delicious! Very good service, as well. HUGE portions...including all deserts!!! Eggwhite Spinach Swiss omelet... Monte Christo sandwich with fried eggs... Mimosas... Everything was delicious (except "stale tasting" hashbrowns - hence 4 stars rather than 5) Now that was yesterday morning... Today, went back and got a #47, add Swiss- to go!!!
