Try the pot stickers. The Mexi pot stickers were great. They are sweet. Fajitas were the perfect size to share. Yummm
The carnitas were very tender with a good flavor. Staff was very efficient and polite.
This place was great. It was in a fantastic central location so we checked it out. We had our 10 month old daughter with us and they were extremely accommodating. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. We have the chocolate bunt cake...omg, to die for!! Would definitely go back.

Great Margaritas!. March, 2009: We dined at this restaraunt/Bar and was impressed with the service and Mostly the Margaritas. The food was pretty good and freshly made. we recommend this place for the maragaritas.
Love it! The food was phenominal!!!! We had the orange chili pork tenderloin medallions with sauted spinach (was fresh!) & chipolte mashed potatoes. Also had BBQ chicken quesadilla. Chips were homemade & salsa was great! The atmosphere is patio in Mexico. The tequila sunrise is mostly tequila! (gonna need to be carried out if I have more than 1)
This place is AMAZING. killer service and even better food! Great atmosphere.
Loved it!!! We'd highly recommend you try Maracas if you are in Palm Springs. The food and atmosphere were both great and prices moderate.

Maracas is a Mexican Cantina located in the heart of downtown Palm Springs, right next to the Sonny Bono fountain statue.
The menu is just as you'd expect - a fare of tacos, enchiladas, rice, bean, fajitas, etc.
The food is superb. Just hits the spot. Well seasoned meat. Serve is great.
There are vegetarian options too.
Overall I give Maracas five stars out of five.
Second visit here ( came a year ago) and really enjoyed it . Excellent,friendly service, huge portions , we had nachos with chicken ( very good) and chicken quesadilla ( excellent) . The grande margarita is huge and my only complaint over all is that margaritas a little too sweet. Will definately go back.
We found another great place to eat in Palm Springs. Dog friendly patio great service. Very good food and excellent coconut margaritas.
Food was pretty good. Some of the staff were friendly and seemed on top of things, but unfortunately our server was not. A different employee had to come get our drink order and she finally came and asked for a drink order when we already had drinks. She took our order and nothing more. Different person delivered and we never got our refills. We also waited an extremely long time for our bill, and had to ask a different server to let our server know as we had not seen her once our entire dinner. Four stars because all other staff but ours were on top of things and good for but minus a star for our bad server.
We only had cocktails after lunch elsewhere- we didn't eat here beyond chips- but the food we saw coming out of the kitchen looked fantastic and smelled even better- the smiles on the faces of patrons and comments overheard lead us to believe the food is very good. We should've eaten lunch here. The cocktails were of generous portions and very well made and the bartender was very skilled, knowledgeable and personable.
Food (4 stars): The food was pretty good. I had the Street Tacos Al Pastor with the Queso Fundido. The servicing size was the perfect amount and left me satisfied.
Service (3 stars): It was a busy night when I went so the staff was quite busy. The only time our server was present was at the beginning, and at the end with the check. I wasn't a fan of the check being closed out at the table and the server hovering over my shoulder while I felt obligated to leave a tip I didn't think he deserved. Especially when the minimum nowadays seems to be 15%.
Ambiance: The ambiance was nice. It's a smaller restaurant so the space felt somewhat intimate.
Second time here first time didn't eat only drank. Got the shrimp enchilada plate and it was delicious. The beans and rice were 4 out of 5 and the enchiladas a 5. The sauce inside was excellent and they didn't skimp on the shrimp. Mom got the beef enchilada plate 5 stars.😋 My mother's husband got the wet Chile Verde burrito and it was excellent! 5 out of 5.👍Service and value were good and they have expanded the outside seating since 2018. (Watch out for added charges for using a card on the bill). They have a description of the additional charges sitting on the table marker. My check was $39, they ran my card for $57.07 Free parking was a perk so I won't complain.
Our waiter I think his name was Wolford was awesome! He gave us great recommendations and an experience. The food was amazing! Oooo that Segria and chips and Salsa tho! Highly recommend for some good Mexican food. Oh, don't forget about them street tacos.

The mango and chamoy blended margarita was a great mix of flavors. Very refreshing! I got the vegetarian enchiladas that were seasoned perfectly. A great blend of flavors. Highly recommend sitting outside, great people watching while enjoying the bustle of downtown.

The portion for my grande burrito was really generous and the green sauce was great. The Mango seafood salad was also really good.
My server was very friendly and made some good recommendations to us.

Good food and great atmosphere. The service was good but took a while to get a drink. Maybe too busy for them or under staff 🤔. With that said I would definitely recommend going.
Our second time here and we love the tacos and fajitas! Salsa is spicy and great too. Loved our service tonight, we had a 45min wait which went by quick walking around. The shredded chicken soft tacos are my favorite ❤️ very juice and lots of flavor
My wife and I absolutely enjoyed our time at Maracas. The staff was friendly and the food was beyond amazing. The margaritas were so good we forgot to snap pictures, but the Caliente Chicken was phenomenal!!! I would definitely try this dish if you enjoy the occasional spicy meal. The salsa is also a spicy treat. You can’t go wrong with any Asada dish on the menu. Stop by and give them a try. You can thank me later.☺️
