It takes forever to walk in and get helped by the deli/prepped foods section. You get directed to submit a paper ticket for your sandwich and then they straight up ignore you and your ticket until they feel like working. Staff are very helpful, food bar is delicious and well maintained. Variety of things to pick from! Only downside is that they use products with palm oil (idk if it is unsustainable). If you are aware then everything is good.
It is conveniently located in downtown Palo Alto. I only go there for very basics, milk, OJ etc. Freshness is lacking, no longer purchasing vegetables or seafood there. Checkout lines are always too long and people are queuing in the isles. Really cramped to use a cart.
