Maria’s food is very fresh, and cooked well. It represents the authentic Mexican food. It’s a family business. Also, the kitchen is really clean, as well as the bathroom, and the restaurant. Despite the struggles after the campfire in Paradise, the family continues to work very hard to provide genuine customer service. Maria is very flexible with changes regarding her menu. I highly recommend this family oriented restaurant.

I just picked up our delicious dinner orders from Maria's Kitchen in Paradise and added an additional order for two dozen of Maria's awesome tamales. I have been dining with Maria's Kitchen since well before the Camp Fire and have never (honestly never) been disappointed. Her food is always consistently outstanding, freshly made, and reflects the love and passion she has for cooking. I have lived in Paradise and the upper ridge since 1972 and have watched the numerous Mexican restaurants come and go, and have experience both good and not-so-good cuisine from all of them. Some lost their passion, some lacked the knowledge for cooking outstanding food, and some bent under the pressure of continual competition. Maria and her hard working team ( including members of her family) are committed to providing an amazing menu reflective of their culture, and are committed to providing phenomenal meals for our community. Thank you Maria for sticking with our the Ridge post-Camp Fire, and for sharing your accomplished and skillful cooking with all of us.
Love Maria's kitchen, never disappointed when getting my dinner or lunch here. Try the chicken enchiladas, They're awesome, and her big burrito is just as good. Thank Maria for being here
Absolutely love Maria's Kitchen before she had the store she did deliveries and we always got her tamales. We went in today and got two big burritos and I love how you can make it how you want it not just how it's made like some places. Her prices are super low and the food is always very yummy I would highly recommend Maria's Kitchen. One more thing her salsa is better then any I have ever had so fresh and chunky just delicious!
I've eaten at nearly every Mexican food restaurant in Paradise and Chico and this place is one of my favorite. Such lovely people who make really outstanding food. If you like Mexican food GIVE THIS PlACE A TRY! You will love it.
