The lodge sits at the base of the mountains (Bald Mountain, Bald Eagle Mountain) and the terrace/balcony of the restaurant has incredible views of the mountains and surrounding area. We were there in July, and the greenery/chairlifts, and blue sky made for a beautiful view during dinner. The service was great, pacing was very good, and the menu had a good variety of meat-forward dishes. Their Utah Elk Carpaccio and Coriander Pacific Halibut were excellent. You do have to walk through parts of the grounds and parts of the hotel to arrive at the restaurant, which made for a cool experience as well as they have some amazing art and furnishings inside the hotel lobby and hallways.

The food and atmosphere here is divine. Cesar was very attentive, kind and his recommendations did not miss. I tried their elk dish for dinner and I will definitely be returning. Compliments to the chef.

Fancy restaurant inside the Stein Eriksen lodge. The food is really fancy and quite pricey. The atmosphere is unbelievable! Really stunning lodge with beautiful settings up in the mountains. It is very secluded and has some very scenic views!

Nothing short of excellent! Only two things I didn’t love, the deviled eggs (just different , not bad) and one of the gluten free cakes (kind of expected right?) Had thanksgiving buffet dinner. It was outstanding. Great variety and well done. I could have stuck with just the caesar salad alone. You have to appreciate the legit caesar salad with the anchovies on the side for weirdos like me that want them. Charcuterie galore, excellent smoked salmon, and fantastic turkey and prime rib. Live music for the atmosphere while lightly snowing outside and never ending chocolaty goodness deserts. Just perfect.

We dined at Glitretind last night and the food and ambience were fantastic. Our server Vadim was excellent, and even though we had an issue over a misunderstanding over information we were told, the manager Juan handled it perfectly and professionally; and we will definitely come back to the restaurant and Stein Eriksen Lodge.

Went for my birthday. Great experience. They made me a cute Birthday chocolate plate gratis. One of the best meals I’ve ever tasted. I recommend the Utah lamb and baked Alaska. Gorgeous setting. Quite romantic.

Was almost empty when w e walked in. Service was very slow to start. Bread was good but had to ask for it. Caeser salad a bit funky but ok Salmon mosaic was fun Lamb chops had to be sent back, overcooked and cold Second time they came out good. Pastry chef knows what they are doing

Overall, this was a great lunch spot. We waited about 45 minutes for a table which gave us time to walk around a bit but we still ended up eating outside so maybe we should’ve waited longer for an outdoor table. Our server Edgar was amazing! He took such great care of us. The food was pretty good but the grilled cheese was lacking a little. The bacon and jalapeño jam was perfect on it but the cheese itself didn’t quite grill to the bread which was kinda odd. Dipping in the soup was the perfect complement.

The services was great and the food was even better. We got the grilled cheese and tomato soup, and the shrimp with cerole reduction. If you're getting desert I highly recommend the sticky toffee pudding. It was so good that I didn't even realize I forgot to take a picture until I was finished.

Went to the annual 4th of July BBQ at the Glitretind Resturant, which is located within the Stein Eriksen Lodge, and had a wonderful time. The selection of different foods was absolutely amazing, so was the service and the live band. If I lived in the Park City area, we would 100 percent make this meal an annual tradition. It sells out every year from what I hear. In any event I highly recommend the Glitretind and the annual 4th of July BBQ out on the deck.

The main restaurant space is currently under renovation, so we dined in the adjacent lounge. Food and service were excellent overall. They have a great selection of mostly sandwiches for lunch, with a few entree options. The tomato appetizer was fantastic. Views can’t be beat. Wonderful spot for a nice lunch or dinner.

Phenomenal experience. We are locals and are embarrassed to admit we had never been here for dinner, though it had always been on the list. We tend to do a lot of our dining in SLC these days due to some amazing chefs being down there. We came to the Glitretind for our 5 year wedding anniversary and had a great server, Mohammed. He quickly mentioned that he knew it was a special anniversary for us and made us feel like we received extra care throughout the evening. The meal was truly perfect - all 3 courses we ordered! The atmosphere was charming, and we felt so well taken care of. We will definitely be back soon! Compliments to the chef.

Wow, what a fantastic dining experience!? The wine list was about 100 pages, which made our night. We had several seafood dishes that were delicious despite being landlocked. Service was very attentive and spent a lot of extra time talking with us and making sure my husband felt special on his birthday. My husband ranted and raved about his Bison entree the whole time he was eating. We will be back ASAP!

The service was phenomenal and the experience was on another level. The combination of the view of beautiful landscape and interior design made this a wonderful memory.

My birthday celebratory dinner with my Sweetheart, excellent service, delicious meals, beautiful presentation and ambiance. Downside, we felt very rushed by the busser wanting to take our dishes several times when we weren’t finished. We wanted to dine and enjoy each other, the beautiful setting, the food and the occasion, not eat in a hurry. Also, the bison carpaccio was next to air the portion size was soooo small and be aware, you pay for every little detail like being offered blue cheese stuffed green olives for our martinis and then being charged extra for them. Just a little deceptive. Often, the right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing regarding dinner/breakfast reservations.

We ate lunch here while skiing Deer Valley and opted for the skier’s buffet. They offered us slippers to wear during the meal, which was a nice touch. The buffet itself was impressive, with a full raw bar, multiple salads and soups, several hot meat/fish options, a carving station with Nieman Ranch brisket, and 7-8 different desserts available for all you can eat. At $48, it offers great value for the quality of the food. The cocktail menu is comprehensive, as is the wine list. The service was warm, friendly, and prompt. This is a great place to take a nice, leisurely lunch break in the middle of a ski day.
