Café Terigo is a romantic Italian restaurant in the heart of Main Street in Park City.
STARTER:
For an appetizer, we shared the
Grilled Artichoke with Cracked Mustard Aioli ($14) which is perfect for two to share because it already comes cut in half. Personally, in addition to squeezing the cooked lemon on top, I recommend using some of the salted butter that comes with the bread for the harder leaves.
ENTREE:
We came to Café Terigo because the Pan-Seared Scallops on Spring Pea Risotto ($43) was recommend to me by the local I was sitting next to on the plane ride over, and it lived up to the hype. I thoroughly enjoyed the creaminess of the sauce on the risotto and how it paired well with everything on the dish. I felt the accents completed the dish, from pea tendril greens on top to the roasted red bell pepper purée on the base. The five scallops were cooked to perfection, I just wish there were more of them, as is always the case with good scallops. My recommendation is to get a bit of each component of the dish on each bite.
SERVICE & ATMOSPHERE:
We were luckily able to get a walk-in table on a Saturday night, and everyone from the host to our server was friendly and ready with recommendations. Both the indoor and outdoor seating (and even the restrooms) were thoughtfully done, and for the outdoor seating they had plenty of heaters.
Gorgeous, inside and out. Cute little patio. The service was above and beyond! I had the scallops , which needed a little more flavor and my mom had the pork with blackberry sauce, which were out of this world.
Was recommended at one of the local shops to stop in for lunch.
Fantastic experience.
Food was really good, atmosphere fantastic,.friendly,. attentive. It started to rain and staff quickly moved everyone inside so quickly and thoroughly. We opted to stay outside under the umbrella as it was just a drizzle and the staff made sure everything was dry .
Highly recommend the Artichoke, salads, and burger. And the lemonade.... delicious
Really a great place.
All of the food was fantastic. Highly recommend the calamari and ricotta plates for starters. The entrees are hearty portions. Chicken fettuccine had a surprising amount of chicken and the flavors were great. Everyone at the table also really enjoyed the scallops.
Nice little restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating.
Service was great and food was also good. We had the ricotta to start based on other reviews. It was very good, however the pesto sauce was even better. Highly recommend! For our main lunch meal we had the chicken risotto and the shrimp & artichoke pizza. The risotto was amazing and had lots of chicken. The pizza was tasty however I wasn’t a fan of the crust which is too bad cuz it would have been amazing with a homemade crust.
We have loved Cafe Terigo for years but last night’s dinner was one of their best! Each dish was unique and so flavourful. Their menu is a mix of solid staples and creative/fresh additions. We all cleaned our plates! And the service was attentive and fun. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
Lesser known fact - this wonderful small northern Italian cafe DOES have a small children’s menu (as of 3/20/23).
Some of the nicest ambience I have seen in the states. Decor is absolutely dynamite and makes you feel wonderful to sit and watch the world drift by
Cafe Terigo is my favourite restaurant in Park City! The food is amazing and I love the atmosphere. Make sure you try the smoked chicken fettuccine and herb crusted trout. They are delicious!
Quaint brunch/dinner spot in the heart of Park City
Things you should know:
I. PARKING
Street parking is easy and convenient (if you arrive early enough). There's a parking garage in case you can't find anything available.
II. SERVICE
Exceptional, but not the most attentive from our experience
III. QUALITY
We enjoyed seeing that they had homemade ricotta cheese for their lunch since we were heavily craving charcuterie (which the cheese platter was unfortunately only a dinner option). The soup of the day was cozy in contrast to the cold temperatures outside.
IV. CAPACITY
For 1pm on a Tuesday, we had no wait time. There were a couple available tables.
Great service, food, and atmosphere. We went there on a Saturday for lunch and sat on there outdoor patio. It was very nice. They had umbrellas set up and shaded the spaces very nicely. The service was very nice and timely. Our food came out and the calamari was delicious. We ordered our hamburger medium done but it came out rare so we sent it back then it came out more well done. I think that cook needs a bit more training. But besides that it was a good experience.
