Louis our server was amazing kind and tentative. Javier came out with a surprise appetizer. The food was fantastic, the service was even better! Made my night. I recommend everyone to visit. They also surprised me with a desert finding out somehow that is was my birthday a kind gesture that doesn't happen at many places.
The table had a stunning view of the pool. Our server was excellent, the food was amazing, and the restaurant was beautifully decorated. I highly recommend it!
There was a bit of a wait but we were very happy with the brush here. Not necessarily anything super unique but just really well executed brunch dishes.
Breakfast sandwich, salmon lox bagel, bacon and berries were all great. Ate outside on the balcony and was a really pleasant spot.
French toast and Benedict were perfectly done! Great service and great view of the courtyard.
So we stayed at the hotel and expected food to come at a premium cost. The atmosphere and the staff is definitely the best you could ask for. As several other reviews have mentioned, it is quite a pricy restaurant. Don’t get me wrong, the meals are excellent and everything is cooked perfectly. But it’s still hard to justify some of the cost. Breakfast was a bit more reasonable than their dinner menu. Cocktails prices were the biggest surprise. Again, they do them extremely well but your cheapest option is 24 dollars. If you do decide to splurge for a drink I would recommend the mezcal old fashion.
The table had a beautiful view of the pool, our server was impeccable, the food was absolutely delicious, and the restaurant was perfectly appointed. Highly recommended!
Having traveled in from Louisiana we had several opportunities to eat the Powder. We were very happy with the food and the service. The staff was extremely polite, very attentive and helpful.
Impeccable service in a great atmosphere in the Waldorf hotel in Park City. The food was well proportioned and well made. In all, expectations were met, but not exceeded. Price may not be for everyone.
Upscale dining at the Waldorf Astoria’s hotel.
I haven’t been there for dinner but I tried breakfast, lunch and cocktails at the bar during my stay.
The food is good and well-presented, so are drinks. However, I think the service did not live up to the expectations from a top 5 star hotel. At breakfast we experienced a slow and inattentive service, while lunch was good, and the bar tender was great.
I believe food and drinks are also overpriced compared to similar locations in the area.
Drinks and food were quite average. The waitress was rather slow. Perhaps due to understaffed. The hotel and manager of the restaurant did go above and beyond to make up for the service. 5 stars for them, but had to dock a star due to overall price, quality, and taste of food.
So, just because its a Waldorf Astoria property, go in with no expectations of this place being stuck up. Staff are excellent - and Shelby, who helped us through our Valentines lunch, was sincerely amazing.
The restaurant manager was always present, never to busy to clear or serve, and genuinely interested in our experience.
All - ALL - the staff were fantastic. The food was just as expected - amazing. Think refined mountain quisine with incredible flavors. Not pretentious- honest, flavorful and welcome.
Can't wait to go back!
I had the best buffalo steak ever. Not that one gets to have buffalo everyday to compare but it was amazing. Beet salad was fantastic as well and my wife enjoyed her salmon. We had some complimentary oyster shooters and then the bread with butter topped with Hawaiian salt was too good. I tried a desert but was almost to full to enjoy. This is top four place in Utah to stay and the dining matches the quality of the Waldorf Astoria.
We had a really great experience here, even during the chaos of COVID. Our waiter was wonderful and helpful with suggestions. We w the seated quickly and treated very well. We ordered the wagyu beef appetizer, which was amazing with the broth it was in, the scallops in squid ink and the halibut. The halibut was delicious and cooked to perfection, but my husband wasn't blown away by the flavors. Flavored well, just not a wow. The scallops were slightly overcooked and a little chewy. It's very hard to get the cook perfect, but I did have higher expectations for the price tag. We also ate the cheesecake, which was amazing! Didn't even taste like a cheesecake, super light and tasty. The ambiance was lovely and we enjoyed our time here.
We were guests at the Waldorf Astoria in Park City over the holiday weekend and I will say out restaurant dining experience was superb! Travis was our bartender and server. The food was amazing (we had the salmon and the filet mignon) as well as some cocktails.
Sadly our second visit was in room dining and we did not have the same food experience. Only one of our meals was correct and my salmon didn’t taste right so I barely ate any of it. The staff and service were great but they lost a star due to the food taste, quality, and order accuracy for our in room dining experience.
