This meal was an amazing treat! Every bite blew our minds. Hats off to the people making the food. It was creative, fresh, and presented beautifully. The people serving were absolutely amazing and very knowledgeable about the food and whiskey. Can't wait to go back!

Fantastic experience at the Nelson Cottage. Prix fixe dinner with whiskey pairings was beyond great. We got to try the barrel select American Prairie(finished in Rum barrels) and the Campfire (finished in Tokaj barrels). We also loved the Campfire (in Amaro barrels)and the Encore Dram (in White port barrels). Food was excellent, served family style, and well matched to the whiskey. The monkfish in banana leaves was the best I’ve had-like the best poached lobster ever. We cannot imagine anything but duck now with the campfire (though it went great with dessert as well). An intimate setting suitable for an anniversary or a night with friends. Glad we found this gem of park city.

We had an unbelievable tasting experience here. From the presentation to the service, everything was perfection. Each dish brought out offered fresh new flavor combinations that I’ve never tasted before. My husband , brother-in-law and I were visiting from New York for the weekend and were able to snag a last-minute reservation to the tasting. Avid James Beard foundation diners, we were really excited to sit down to a tasting menu after the last two years of not being able to enjoy our usual monthly tasting outing. This dinner was on par with our previous experiences, and we honestly cannot recommend it enough. Worth every single penny. The one thing I did want to mention is that if you opt in for the whiskey pairing, it is not included in the original fee. The planets must have been out of orbit because not only was it not mentioned, but it was brought to our attention that the fee is usually printed on the menu but for some reason our group of menus did not have that. They were very quick and kind to make things right. The additional fee for the pairing is 100% worth it and we will absolutely opt in for it again next time. It was our first but definitely not our last time visiting the Nelson cottage. We can’t wait to go back to Park city in a few months and enjoy the tasting menu here again.

An intimate atmosphere nestled just off historic Main Street in downtown Park City. This intimate setting has a prix fixe menu with whiskey pairing option (why would you say no?) and is worth the added cost to do it. The service was great, food was creative and delicious and the whiskey pairings were on point. Even those who habit the saloon should check out the Nelson Cottage for access to some of the rarer whiskeys and top culinary works.

Absolutely phenomenal experience last night. Food and whiskey were sensational and service Corrine, Laura and Team were wonderful (and knowledgeable). Group had a great time. Felt more like being a guest at a friend’s house (who is an amazing chef and has an incredible whiskey collection).

My favorite Park City restaurant! Food, service and ambiance are fantastic! It’s not a cheap meal but the 6 course prix fixe + welcome drink feels like a value for what you get. Portions are surprisingly generous too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The Nelson Cottage by High West was by far the greatest dining experience me and my wife have had probably ever. The staff has such great knowledge and is willing to help in any way possible. The food was exquisite and the family style table really brings you out of your comfort zone and aids you in making new friends if only for the evening. It's comfortable and fun, yet quaint and fancy. If you're going to do one nice thing in Park City this is it.

Wagyu, brocolini, food was top shelf. We don't drink, but for whiskey makers (High West) they do dinner right. Dinner is fixed, which was new and fun. Nice to all be eating the same foods that are introduced by staff. Unique opportunity, don't miss it!
