Absolutely wonderful! What a great fun diner. The workers were amazing and friendly. We sat at the bar. It was fun to see how well everyone worked together. Great service and conversations. Well worth it! Ask for the home-made salsa😋

Terrific old-fashioned diner with great food and fantastic service. Sitting next to me at the counter was an older gent with a heavy accent who told me that he came there every day for breakfast even though it was a long drive. Best breakfast in Chicago, he insisted, and I have no reason to doubt him. My breakfast was perfect, as good as I've ever had in a diner. Noticeably less greasy than most. The woman working the counter asked me if I wanted to see a newspaper! Can't remember the last time that happened. What a nice touch. Very highly recommended!

Hey, you can't miss at Mac's. In 1985, breakfasts were $2.00 for eggs, ham, hash browns and pancakes. Today, it's $8.95 and still a bargain. Same great food; same great service. If you haven't tried it - you owe it to yourself to do so.
