Great Beer Selection. Who knew? It looked like your average dive with 4 beers on tap from the outside, but wow! Awesome selection once you get in. Knowledgable and friendly bar staff too. Good food - especially on the home-cooked evenings. Can't beat it. Friendly locals are there as well.
Good food, cold beer, friendly staff and Karaoke!. The Emerald has been around forever. Well known for years for their St Patrick's Day corned beef and cabbage dinner. I hadn't been there in a while when a friend recommended their cream of crab soup. It was good, but could be better with the addition of some sherry. The shrimp salad was very good. Good cold beer and friendly bar staff too. Prices were decent and portions good as well. Karaoke (Tuesdays) starting at 9pm, make the Emerald a fun place to be on Tuesday night. So have a nice meal, toss back a cold one (or two) and sing a few songs with friends old and new. I'll be coming back to work my way through the rest of their menu.
What a hidden 💎! I was slightly hesitant to go in because I've never been in an Irish pub and wasn't sure how the experience would be. Nancy was super inviting as soon as I came in the door and it made me feel like I was home in the south. I had the crab stuffed mushrooms and french fries for a light lunch and man o man it was delicious! The food was good, the service was good, and even the owner stopped by just to make sure I was doing good, so definitely a plus in my book and I will be back soon. Thanks Nancy!
We were there on karaoke night and everyone was somehow involved either singing or supporting those who volunteered. What a great ambience! Even a waitress got up and sang and had an awesome voice. It was nice to see this community getting together and just having a great time together. The food was also good. We especially enjoyed the risotto with chicken,but the fried shrimp and chicken bites were also good.
We're new to the area and this place was so nice!! The crab fritters were delicious. The burger was AMAZING. And the staff are so friendly and nice. Will definitely be coming back

The emerald is a gem in baltimore!! The staff and service there is always great.. If you want a place to have good food.. good drinks and always a good time.. then definitely visit the emerald!! You won't be disappointed!! 💯.. they're never going to let you down!!

Great service by staff, open mic on Wednesdays at 8, relaxing atmosphere without having to go all the way to Canton or Fells to find a decent bar. We got some snacks...try the broccoli 🥦...or the fresh, hand-cut fries with this INCREDIBLE white dipping sauce (with blue cheese...it was bangin'!). It wasn't too busy because of torrential rain when I went, but it may be on other days.
