Great Alternative to Cake and Pie. Want to bring a treat that will be well-received, but different from the usual dessert menu? try one of the cobblers at this unassuming place. a group of us from the office got the 'serves 15' size of peach cobbler along w some vanilla ice cream for our boss's birthday and it was a BIG hit - nothing left on any of the plates. we ordered the cobbler the day before and it was waiting for us at the promised time, warm and fresh out of the oven. it stayed warm in its container until it was served over 30 minutes later...ahhhh!

looking forward to trying the cherry cobbler next time - the peach was sweet and i'd like to try something a bit more tart. either way - yummy!

It took me a year to discover this place that is just a few blocks up the exact same street I live on. Shame on me! But I have been making up for it by visiting regularly. The Gourmet Cobbler Factory in Pasadena is a small hole in the wall place on Catali

Delicious! The place is perfectly low key so that we get a great deal, and the Peach Cobbler reminds me of my Moms! Wish I could walk to a place like this at home! #sogood

My bf and I are from Texas, and though we love most things about living in California, his Austin heart was yearning for real BBQ. Most places we've tried in the area just haven't been up to our standard, but Gourmet Cobbler Factory is perfect! We've gone there often and everything is consistently delicious, from the pulled pork to the ribs to the pies. They are also fairly fast, and family-owned. A must-visit in Pasadena!

Decently priced and delicious pecan pies (single serving sized), even when they're not in season (I bought mine in August). Small business run by a nice older couple. Get there early as they might run out ahead of closing time, which is what happened the first time I tried to go there (they close at 6pm on specific days, but were closed at 5 on the day that I tried). Also, calling in advance is hit or miss, as the voicemail is full.

Fantastic little hole in the wall shop. Lemon meringue pie and larger sized cobblers need to be ordered ahead of time.

The best cobblers you'll find in Southern California - fresh and delicious. I get them for all my family events. They're made fresh daily, so you need to order a few hours in advance.
