Was looking for a place to eat lunch yesterday and we decided on stopping at Mama Elena's based on the reviews. I got Rice with chicken, Chicken Stew, plantains and a few fried chicken strips. My plate was full and the price came to under $10, which is really good. The food was delicious but the

I am very picky with dominican food. Coming from Washington heights, I have a "platanero" trained palette. There are no good selections in clifton, unfortunately. I decided to give this location a shot for take out, and let me tell you...... It did not disappoint! Can't wait to visit the place again

Good place for a good dominican breakfast. The yuca was a bit hard but I know how difficult is to get good yuca. Fried cheese is a home run. Mangu out of this world.
The Sancocho is really delicious the whole family enjoyed it.
