Went for the first time last night, it was soooo good. Super friendly waiter, Sean took really good care of us. Dominican ribs, fish tacos, shrimp po boy and rib eye were delish. Drinks are pricey but drinks are pricey EVERYWHERE. The food and service were great...will definitely be going back.

The food is amazing!!! The service is fantastic! The atmosphere, SO FUN! That being said- know what you’re getting when you come here. A loud, fun, popular bar/restaurant with lots of people, music, great food and good times. If you want a relaxing dinner, come on a weeknite or go elsewhere. The rest of us come here to party! ;)

Had dinner here on a Wednesday night. The staff was excellent, very attentive, and nice to talk to. Drinks were strong and good. Had the red sangria. The food was good also , my wife had a seafood platter that was delicious & I had the cheeseburger in paradise. Rhum is an excellent choice if dining out in Patchogue.

Take a look at the upper floors as well as the back room on the second floor. The oitdoor rooftop had heaters above each table, as well as a small bar with some seating and swings. It was our first time, and we both ordered a healthy entry. The cole slaw that came with my tuna burger was delicious. The staff were all very friendly, and our server helped with recommendations. They had a nice selection of beers and drinks. There is an elevator that seemed slow. So you can ride up to 3 and walk down as you explore each floor.

Welcome to Rhum, a true haven of relaxation. As you step in, the serene ambiance of the first floor greets you, offering both indoor and outdoor seating options connected seamlessly through a garage door. The bar, adorned with high chairs, invites you to unwind. On the second floor, the charm continues with indoor seating amidst captivating Caribbean island inspired paintings, accompanied by an abundance of life like artificial plants. The presence of a backroom and a skylight adds to the experience. Ascend to the third floor for an elevated experience, where indoor seating at the bar puts you in a playful mood with swing seating. Outdoor seating provides the option to relax in a chair or a table with even more swings, promising a delightful time. When it came to the food, my love for coconut shrimp made it a no-brainer that I would have to try the jumbo coconut shrimp—a splendid introduction and my recommended appetizer to you. The Passionfruit Pina Colada proved to be an absolute delight. Equally, the coconut mojito was a refreshing companion. For the main course, my selection was the soy and sugar cane salmon, accompanied by coconut risotto and the veggie of the day, which was string beans. While commendable, it fell slightly short of the extraordinary experience delivered by the Chili Rubbed Pork Tenderloin. This dish came complete with coconut risotto and plantains, truly captured my heart with its sensational flavors. The service at Rhum was excellence, from start to finish. Every server exuded a wonderful attitude, patience, and willingness, enhancing the overall experience. Without hesitation, I wholeheartedly recommend Rhum and eagerly anticipate the opportunity to revisit this exceptional establishment.

Atmosphere was great, food was great, crowd was good and the customer service was excellent both the chefs and the bartenders and waiters. Very nice hang out spot. There is also an upstairs section if downstairs is full. The parking can be very difficult to find in the front (street) but there is plenty of parking in the back but because of the crowd you might have a little wait.

Ho Ho Ho and a bottle of Rhum!!! If you haven't been, then what are you waiting for. Rhum is a Caribbean themed bar restaurant. First floor bar and tables some tables street side. On the second floor, some tables overlooked the downtown patchogue atmosphere. Third floor, yes, third floor has a bar with swings for seats. 😮 you herd correct swings. Also, they have an outside deck with igloo seating. Total winner. All this and now let's talk food and service. The food is amazing. I recommend you try the Domminican ribs and any taco. They have specials Tuesday and Thursday 3 for $15. The drinks never disappoint. I have been here many times, and the service is just as professional. Everyone is doing their job and doing it with a smile. I had the pleasure of sitting at the bar and was served by Gabby. She said she's been there 7 years a total pro. She had Carlton helping at the bar and also outstanding. Full disclaimer patchogue can be hard to park, but once your car is parked. Let Rhum make you smile. Enjoy.

We paid $200 for drinks and tacos for 3 people. Pricey like the city but super cute decor so it makes a night out feel like one. Dine upstairs or at the bar. We didn’t have much to complain about anything served so that was a plus. Tacos were prepared well and ingredients were fresh. Not authentic style tacos but more like trendy modern vibes. I recommend doing your research and going in when they have some thing going on like happy hour, drink/app specials or live music. This adds a little bit more value to their higher price point. We loved the rastaman taco with fried avocado but the island slaw was an overkill, they put it on literally everything even to garnish plates. Also, the jerk chicken and sweet potato side dish with pistachio both need a-lot of work.

Love the food here and our server was really awesome. Today there was a taco special.. we had the breaded sage shrimp, coconut shrimp and jerk chicken taco. The island burger is my favorite, I always get that with a juicy sweet char grilled pineapple slice on it. There is a nice bar on the 1st floor.. and they do have roof top accommodations as well.

Played hookie from work the other day and decided to try Rhum on a whim with the wife. We went on a Thursday. Nice suprise was the 3 tacos for 12 dollars and the half price on certain drink.Atmosphere of the place was great. The decor brought me back to the carribbean 💯%.The crazy wall on the second floor I might try and copy in the man cave. We had the Duck empanadas as a recommendation from our waitress and they were amazing. The dipping sauce with the horse radish cleared my sinuses as an added perk. Best tacos 🌮 and the slaw has to be made daily. they say the keylime pie is award winning. After trying it I can't argue. The filling was sour and sweet and delicious but the star had to be the crust. I might just have to order the whole pie to go next time. I can't remember the last time I left a restuarant and was already planning on what I wanted to try next (Dominican Ribs) and the Keylime Pie again. I would advise anyone looking for something out of the box and delicious to try this place. You have a new repeat customer. Just went for another Visit. Dominican Ribs slid right off the bone. excellent sticky sauce and that pop of chives and cilantro are excellent. The blackened chicken sandwich was packed with layers of flavor and the coconut risotto was so creamy. Love love love this place. Best restuarant on Main st.. Or anywhere for that matter.

Fun place. Food is really good. The servers are terrific. The atmosphere is colorful & playful. I love the top outdoor deck. The swinging tables and benches are a nice touch. My only issue is the noise level. Very loud. The kitchen sounds & first floor bar level carry right up through the middle opening to the 2nd & 3rd floors. When crowded, it's hard to hear your table mates.

I found this spot by accident and I was happy about it! The atmosphere is worth the price of admission and they know it - and own it. Tropical vibes with a menu that has a flair for the adventurous with flavor profiles to match! I enjoyed the special guacamole appetizer that they offer - lots of yum and a decent portion. The Sticky Ribs were my Achilles heel there - soft, fall off the bone and overly delicious... only issue is there weren't enough! The tacos are fun as well; but keep in mind they're sold individually - so you'll need to order a few if you're really hungry. They also have a nice drink menu; but I didn't have any with my lunch. I'd recommend.

RHUM never fails to impress. I've been a few times for lunch and the food is always delicious. I had my bridal shower there recently (March '22) in their adorable private room and it was perfect. The salmon and island burger were both delicious. Their house rum is hands down my favorite flavor ever - I need their secret recipe. Such a great restaurant.

This was a really cute spot we stopped for a drink and some apps. we ate here the last time we were in town as well and the food was great. Interesting cocktails and everyone liked their choices. Group of 8 and we were seated quickly. Rain interferes with patio and rooftop but that would be great in better weather. Had my elderly Mom along, who needed something to eat asap and they brought out her food almost as fast as the drinks! Great friendly and attentive service. we sat on the main floor this time , but loved that they had an elevator for my mom to go upstairs last time we were there!
