My wife and I were at Iron & Wine last night and we had an amazing experiance. The owner and staff were extremely accommodating and understanding with my wifes food allergies. Not only were the staff members great but the food was excellent too. The atmosphere was very laid back with a beautiful decor. The tapas selection was so varied that I had trouble picking, they all looked excellent! I couldn't choose just one so I had dry rubbed chicken wings with mango ghost chili sauce on the side and chicken sliders. The wings were among the top best wings I have ever had. My wife had mango pork tenderloin and a carpaccio of beef which she described as incredible. My only dissapointment was a small full plate selection, but this is a tapas bar so it is to be expected. Over all great experiance and we will be returning time and time again.
Hands down, favorite place ever. Found this gem about a year ago, been obsessed ever since. The staff is great, the ambiance is perfect, especially the space outside with a gorgeous view. But the food...oh the food. It's amazing. We finally made it back last weekend, after a very long 5 months. Last place we went before my treatments started, and one of the first ones we went to after I was done. As sick as I was some days, I craved the bacon jam sliders and short rib tacos, and couldn't wait to have them again, and enjoy food once more. It's a testament to the power of what someone can do with an ingredient, and transform it into something memorable and incredible. We can't wait to try everything on the menu...If we could just stop ordering those tacos and sliders 😉
Were passing by this place on the way from CT. It was virtually empty on a late saturday afternoon. Were pleasantly surprised by a very unique menu. Everything we tried was super delicious. Brussel sprouts, tuna, truffle fries are a must. Great wine and drink selection. Service was great. Highly recommend.
Tom is a great guy, the place is always clean and staff are very pleasant. I can tell you that there calamari is out of this world good and the bartender makes an amazing mojito. Josh is the head chef and is an artist with the food, presentation is flawless. I highly recommend you stop here for a great meal with some friends and enjoy the atmosphere.
Love the food and atmosphere! I like to try new dishes, but am hesitant when I have to order a BIG meal! Everything there was excellent every time we've been, and the staff is sooooo friendly...they treat you like family. This is now my special "go-to" place!
We have gotten takeout several times, and tried many different dishes, and we have always enjoyed their food. This past weekend, we held a baby shower there and everything was perfect. First, let me say that Tom was great throughout all the planning. He was very accommodating and patient with us as we were making decisions related to what we would be serving to the guests. On the day of the shower, he allowed us to arrive two hours prior to the start in order to decorate. His staff were very helpful and very professional throughout the day. All the food was excellent, as we had expected. We have received many positive comments about the food (both in taste and quantity) from our guests. Several who live in the area said they plan on returning to have dinner. We can’t give enough positive feedback about the time that we had this past weekend, and we are so thankful we chose to use Iron and Wine to host the event.
This was our first time coming here and we were blown away! The menu was creative and so many options! We got the sticky jerk ribs that were outstanding and a gnocchi dish with burata cheese served right the the cast iron it was baked in! Our server was very helpful, knowledgable and attentive despite having a “full house”!! I do wish they had more dessert options but we will defiantly be coming back!!!
Iron and wine restaurant offers a dish for everyone. Each plate is purposefully seasoned to perfection. If you enjoy a bland meal this is not the place for you. The restaurant offers quality dishes , great service and savoring flavors that are difficult to forget. In the summer you will have the opportunity to dine outdoors with a beautiful view. Indoor dining offers a nice trendy casual vibe that also gives you the feeling of having a hells kitchen chef cooking for you with warmth and passion in your own home. Thank you for a wonderful meal.
Strolled in last night at about 4:00 and was a little scared at first because the parking lot was empty. But after I went inside and saw how clean and well taken care of everything was I gave this place a shot. OMG this is by far the best places in northern putnam county. The bartender made my drink perfectly the owner/head chef was super friendly and all the food had a culture diverse menu. That was perfect this is a gem of a restaurant and I will be returning with a bunch of friends 5/5
Amazing food the owner came out to greet us personally and checked on us. Food is bar none best in the area will definitely be back!
