Mimi's - Nice Diner. All booths, a little small for 4 adults. Service was great. Eggs, ham, bacon and biscuits all good. No wow factors just good service and good food. What else could you want. Want something local? Mimi's is the place to go.

Very Competent. There were two of us, one for breakfast, one for lunch, we were both very happy. All the food was very competently prepared, the cole slaw was outstanding... almost everything homemade. Was excited to see a stuffed green pepper on the specials... it was wonderful. The waitress was very good, the food was prepared promptly and nicely presented. The price was extremely reasonable.

Best in Pauls Valley. This is my favorite restaurant in Pauls Valley. It is a great small town experience. The staff is friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is relaxing and soothing, and they have outstanding burgers and specials.

Great place for lunch!. My wife and I were passing thru the Paul's Valley area and decided to find a real place to eat lunch instead of stopping in one of the corporate clones on the interstate. What we found was well worth the small effort it took to drive into town.
The large sign outside beckoned us to come in and inside we found exactly what we wanted...an excellent example of a small town restaurant. We were greeted warmly and handed a menu that was heavy on breakfast items but had three specials for lunch. We both ordered the chicked fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy. When we were indecisive about the other 2 sides, our waitress mentioned two or three others that were not on the menu but they would fix for us if we liked. I don't remember the other sides my wife ordered but I had homemade cole slaw and fresh peaches. One thing we both appreciated was the portion sizes which were just right. The steaks were just big enough to sate our appetities, not so big that we had to either stuff ourselves or leave half. This left enough room for desert...blackberry cheesecake for me and fresh pecan pie for my wife. Throw in a Diet Pepsi for each of us and the entire tab came to $20.17. Overall good food, great service in a relaxed atmosphere for an outstanding price. We both highly recommend this place and will stop in the next time we are in the area.

Sweet little small town dinner in the heart of town. Nice atmosphere and pleasant staff. Food was good, make sure to ask if they have biscuits as there is limited supply. This is a good place to get comfort food like a small dinner would make.

The chicken sandwich took up half of the to-go box and the shoestring fries were just right. (Fries took up the rest of the box!) A very filling place to eat.

What an INCREDIBLE little place to go. Whether you live in town or are just passing through Pauls Valley on a road trip, you’ve gotta stop here! The inside atmosphere will certainly take you back to a simpler time. It’s old timey and clean. My coffee cup was always full. The menu was simple and everything was available. Food came out promptly, correct, and tasted great. We got breakfast- the chicken fried steak, over easy eggs, biscuits and gravy. 5 stars. A little salt, pepper, and Tabasco makes your plate perfect. The waitress was amazing. My only complaint is you can’t leave gratuity on credit card so be sure to bring cash to take care of the staff!

Great food and friendly service. Found this little restaurant while stopping through for softball, and fed my family for under $30.

So 5 stars because it's good OLD School from scratch taste great grandma style cast iron campfire cooking. That flavor isn't for everyone. If I was younger I would have put 2 stars because "ew where is the flavor? and has a weird taste" (oh weird? You mean FLOUR?...oh is that what that is?). 😂 Prices are very affordable, portions are large. Same meal in huge city would cost 150-200% more. Note. Has Neat pictures of the city from way back in the day on the walls, saw some OG model T's park downtown in a few of them.

It's been ran by members of my family for years. My Aunt Retha made the best gravy you ever tasted ! And I guess they stole her recipe. Because it still tastes like her gravy. My cousins have been feeding Paul's Valley for years. I don't see that ending anytime soon. Great place to eat
