They have the best ice cream around, it's Hudsonville and they have many flavors. The staff is friendly and the place is clean. You can go to the walk up window or go inside. They have non dairy and non dairy vegan ice creams also.
The Sugar Bear is a quaint little hometown ice cream shop. The ceiling tiles were handmade by local children and organizations. Absolutely adorable. The kind of commitment they have with the community is great.

This was my first time here and I had a peanut butter sundae and it was delicious! The banana split was equally awesome. Quite a few people there so everyone must love it. There is some outside seating and a window for ordering. Definitely go check it out!

Low key. Great service and simple but good food. GLUTEN Free and Vegan options as well as a full menu of burgers and hot dogs. And ice cream...recommend. get off the freeway and take a break from chain restaurants.
It was a great place to eat, I love the variety and the types of Ice cream you can't get anywhere else. The atmosphere was alright but they were friendly and the free WiFi is just an added bonus. If you are ever in the area I highly suggest going here with the family or by yourself.
Our granddaughter has a peanut allergy. Heather was awesome in meeting our concerns. Used a new scooper in a new ice cream container to insure no cross-contamination. The ice cream was DELICIOUS! I had sea salt caramel...yum! We will be back. Thank you, Heather!!!
Ice cream was great but the staff was not. They have a sign that says will sing if tip over $2. 4 people in my group tipped + that and no singing even when asked. And manager yells at employees in front of guests

The ice cream is great but the store itself is really dirty. Stained carpet and just generally unkempt. Sometimes the ice cream I got was really already melting and it was a struggle to eat it before it fell off the cone. Friendly but rushed service.
The sugar bear is now owned by Lafayette Creamery from Kalamazoo. They had really great flavors that were not the ordinary. The service was great they explain the different flavors and the origin of the ingredients.
Great ice cream selection! Always young students working behind the counter that are fun and friendly! Reasonable prices as well- great local spot!
