I went here Mon 4/8/19 for lunch with my school friends and teacher and Instructional Assistant and I had their Umi Chicken with Noodles and let me tell you it was the best thing I ever had considering i have never had anything from their restaurant before this menu item that i had was soooooooo goo

Somewhat friendly staff but the food was mediocre at best. They don’t use real lo-mein noodles, it’s lterally spaghetti tossed in an extremely bland sauce. It was great in the moment but the aftermath was awful. Every time I have eaten there I have gotten sick. The first time I was up the whole night wanting to throw up. The second time I actually did throw up. The whole night I was constantly sick, it was awful! I will never eat there again.

Best In town. Umi of Japan is one of my favorite places to dine. Real authentic Asian Cuisine, highly recommend if you are near North Shore mall!!

If you're looking for expensive water down teriyaki this is the place for you. The food is beyond terrible and has no taste. I will NEVER come back here. The customer service is also bad to top it all off.
