If you want a Mexican breakfast in Pearland, especially during the week, go try Celaya. I was pleasantly surprised, I had seen it many times over the years but never thought to stop. The prices are incredible for this day and age. The food was fresh and tasty. It was a nice, clean, and quiet environment, a great place to relax and start the day off before all the hustle and bustle of life. The service was great. A barbacoa taco for $2.75... wow. We ordered the migas plate, huevos rancheros plate with sausage instead of bacon and 2 barbacoa tacos. Tortillas are homemade. I even put some of my barbacoa on my migas and still had enough for my taco. Support a local business and try this place, I'm going to try dinner there soon.
The service was humble, the meal was excellent, and the price was right. From the moment we stepped in we were greeted and escorted to our seats. It was a wonderful eating experience because to the excellent food options, quick service, tasty margaritas, and attentive staff.
One of our favorites for years now. Great food, fast and friendly service, very reasonable prices. Love the tacos, enchiladas, tamales, nachos, fajitas... They are our go-to restaurant for Mexican food!

After 18 years I finally stopped in to see what I have been missing. Customer service was top notch from the start so things are already going good for 8am.
My son is not a huge breakfast fan so he asked his normal question, “ Is the whole menu available?”
Yes it is, the day is getting better by the minute. Drink order taken and chips and salsa on the way, I am seriously starving at this point so I can’t wait, The chips are warm and crispy and the salsa is served in a bowl twice the size of most places. The first chip hit the salsa at hyper speed and a moment of bliss ensued. The sauce according to my son is the best he has eaten. It was smooth and warm with plenty of flavor. It is a very mild salsa that any palate can handle. The first bowl was gone in record time with a second on the way. The day at this moment is perfect. Now on to our entrees.
Entrees :
Super Burrito. 8/10
A 12-inch flour tortilla stuffed with 5 oz. of grilled steak fajita, rice, beans, sour cream, lettuce, pico de gallo and guacamole.
This is a phenomenal burrito. It is big so you better be hungry. The fajita meat was really tender with an excellent crust. The ingredients are your typical fare in a burrito but the meat gives this one an edge.
Pollo Ranchero. - 5/10
Grilled chicken topped with ranchero sauce. Served with rice, beans, pico de gallo and guacamole
Let’s start with the most important critique, the ranchero sauce needs some serious work. It’s not really a sauce, it wants to be but just doesn’t get there. It needs more seasoning as well. The chicken was tender but suffered from a lack of seasoning as well. The guacamole, rice, and beans were all really good, which helped save the dish. It wasn’t horrible because I left a clean plate, it just needs a revamp.
I have seen the good and the bad reviews of Celaya’s and I can honestly say that the good outweighs the bad easily. Everyone has different tastes, so the sauce that I love might not be the sauce you love. At the same time that alone doesn’t make it bad, just different.
The great customer service and salsa makes it a must try if you haven’t.
Just don’t forget to bring any concerns to the management, problems can’t be fixed if they don’t know about them.

This place is very quiet for breakfast. Our server was quick & friendly. Food came out quick, hot & tasted ok. For the price, the plate I ordered was good. It's a little dark for my preference. It didn't lookl Ike they had the ceiling lights turned on. It looked like they were relying on natural light, but they only had front windows. It will probably not be my first choice for a breakfast spot, but it was alright.
My husband and I decided to stop by after a mutual friend’s recommendation and are glad we did. The food was delicious, affordable and humbling waitstaff. From the moment we walked in we were greeted and escorted to our seats. Food options are great, fast service, good margaritas and the attentive care made it a great dining experience. You don’t get that a lot anymore.
My husband and I love to try different restaurants and it all comes down to customer service. This place definitely got an A+
I have 2 friends who really love Celaya, so after a hiatus from my experience with just okay food a few years ago, I gave it another shot. The salsa is wonderful and the 2 dishes I've now had were delicious - spicy shrimp soup and sour cream enchiladas (I had to stop myself from cleaning my plate). Big portion sizes, yummy frozen margaritas and free ice cream. Give it a try and get those chicken enchiladas!
I usually go there for lunch and it's always fresh. I always order enchiladas with extra enchilada sauce. Today for dinner I had enchiladas. This is the first time I had a margarita and I liked it. My husband ordered beef fajitas which was also good. I recommend

The carnitas were so flavorful, moist and tender. Refried beans didn't have any flavor. Salsa was warm and tasty. Chips were great unlike other restaurants that have tough, thick ones. I'll definitely be back for the carnitas!

Been eating here for many years. The food is pretty good and so are the drinks. The servers are always nice and I love the free ice cream.
Called ahead and told them when had a family member with glutton allergy. Sat down and had food quickly. Food and service was excellent!
Not too bad but also not the best. Had ordered huevos rancheros but because we wanted the eggs scrambled they didn't put any of the ranchero sauce on it. Server had to bring it as a side. Had to explain several times what we wanted and seemed server didn't understand as she kept saying it's because we wanted them scrambled.
