I visited for the first time on a Sunday afternoon and I was not crowded. The service was good and the food was tasty. The salsa was not spicy and the portions were adequate. I will definitely eat there again. We've been back numerous times and the service is still great.

I especially liked the salsa because it was tasty but not spicy. The portion size was appropriate and the sweet tea was not too sweet.
Definitely, one of the best Cuban/Mexican in Pembroke Pines. True classic dishes throughout the menu. Upon entering i was greeted and was seated very nicely. Immediately upon being seated chips and salsa were brought to our table with water.
Service was great and the food tasted amazing. Their Mofongo and Steak is worth the visit. The food was delicious for the price and they give large portions. I did leave with leftovers that were eaten not even an hour after leaving.
PS: Always order a Tres Leche before leaving

Amazing food great service and the chips are hot and fresh out the kitchen staff was super nice and explained the special of the day on Sunday and what can I said the special was amazing and fresh mango juice also was very Good. I will be returning soon !
We had passed by this place so many times. We went in on a whim and wow!! Whoever is cooking deserves props. It was delicious and the portions were just right. We will come back again and bring the rest of our family next time. The server, Kelly was a delight and very attentive and sweet. Thank you!!

This is long overdue. What can I say? Years and years of consistency and it only got better. Want an amazing and authentic meal at a very fair price point? This is your go-to and no other place can stack up. No hype, no dramatic marketing campaign, just fantastic food FAST! Amazing chips and salsa (not spicy) and the garlic sauce and chimichurri are so mouth watering! I do prefer their Cuban options, but the Mexican side of the menu is no joke! Even the bread basket is ridiculously cheap and so wonderful for a group! I have NEVER had a bad meal there and we are kinda picky! 😖 Even for my birthday, my fiance knew to order Don Pepe take out for the gathering. The only time we've ever had slow service was when our family went there for a holiday and they were short staffed with huge parties seated. Lesson learned. But make no mistake, this is some of the finest food in South Florida and it's the gem of Pembroke Pines! Thank you for making my taste buds happy.😋 Other restaurants could learn a lot from you.
Without a doubt, one of the best restaurants in South Florida—at any price. That being said, prices are very, very reasonable. Consistently provides excellent (Mexican, Cuban, and more!) food and absolutely exceptional service. What you’d hope for and expect in an owner run restaurant. Have tried many menu items and have never been disappointed. They make amazing Mojitos and have the best black beans! Make sure to leave room for a flan or other awesome end to your meal, and one of their incredible cappuccinos which are served with an artistic flair! By the way, if you like airplanes, you’ll be at the right place, as you’ll get to see many aircraft taking off or landing at North Perry Airport which is right next door! Certainly makes for an enjoyable dinner date, family event, or midday lunch! Staff speaks both English and Spanish. Highly recommend, without any hesitation.
First time here and it was a Wednesday so of course the place was almost empty, which did not bother us. Waitress was very nice an attentive and the service was quick. Chips and salsa they offer were ok although salsa was a bit watery with no spice nor much flavor. The flautas and fajitas were very good, but the chimichanga not so much. The margaritas were delicious, wish they were bigger. Now, I recommend you ask the prices of the drinks before ordering, because it can get very expensive especially if you decide to upgrade to a better tequila like we did.

The food here is so freaking delicious. My daughter is a picky eater. We visited this place 3 times during our vacation because the food is soooo good. The waiter is personable and sweet. If ever in Fort Lauderdale please dine here. You will thank me later and I consider myself a foodie

Salsa for the chips was WAY too watery.
My friend ordered Roast Pork with rice & beans. $ 9.99
He said the flavor was good as was the quantity.
I ordered Beef Fajitas $ 19.99.
Came with a SMALL dish of sour cream, shredded cheese,
salsa and a little shredded lettuce and 4 warm tortillas.
No problem getting more.
The quantity of Fajita fixings was good but they left out the
Fajita Seasoning so it did not taste like Fajitas at all.
Add the seasoning and the dish would have been a 5.
Finished the meal with a flan. $ 3.99 Small for the price.
Server Marvin did a good job.
Not close to home. May go back.

Have heard great things about this place so i finally stopped in and was not disappointed. I had the Ropa Vieja and it was really good. Service was friendly and attentive as well. Highly recommended. I'll be back for sure.
