Looking for a Chinese restaurant that uses white chicken breast meat in their honey garlic or generals chicken then this is your place. So far all the chicken dishes I have tasted are made with white meat. The house special fired rice comes with plenty of ingredients and is tasty.
Personally I feel this is the best Chinese restaurant in the Pembroke Pines area.
Have been ordering food from Dragon gate for years with no problems. Today 12/8/2023. Had an issue with a meal. They sent a replacement meal. I tried to return the meal and tip the driver. But he would not accept. Told me not necessary that he was told to simply deliver the meal. This restaurant is extremely honorable.

Love this place. I order lobster with ginger and scallions almost every week. It is so delicious, abundant and excellent price. The amount is great. Much better than before. If you love lobster you have to try it. You will love it. I can't stop eating. No regrets.

Excellent traditional Chinese food, good taste and service
The last review I did for this staple of a restaurant was about 5 years ago. I've been patronizing this authentic Chinese restaurant for almost 20 years. Now it is under new ownership. I walked in to a newly renovated restaurant. I only asked that the quality of the food remain consistent. So I ordered the half duck and mix soup. Had not had the duck for 3 years. The Duck was so tender and juicy. Well cooked served with white rice. My only disappointment was the sauce was too salty to eat and add to the rice. The mix soup was a bit different. It didn't have that clean look and taste. But it was very good.
I used to love the bok choy and shrimp. So I will be back. Still friendly and respectful service.
The service was quick after we ordered. The food was pretty good. We ordered some orange chicken,which was delicious. We also ordered Beef Szechuan. The meat was pretty good. I also liked the fact that you could change the spice level. For example I asked if I could make the orange chicken with no spice. I'd rate it 4 stars because it wasn't too special,but it was still pretty good. I attached some pictures of the food we ate.
Omg food was so good I got shrimp fried rice chicken wing and wonton. If say everything arrived warm with all my condiments Inside my bag I had every sauce. Also the sound noodles were fresh and crunchy. Highly recommend
11/15/23 - Just changed to 5 stars. Not only are they dependable, but the new management and Nelson have been providing the best food combined with the best service of any Chinese restaurant I've frequented. Delivery is HOT and fresh! The best Chinese I've ever had, hands down.
Original - SOLID experience overall. Things got dicey over the last year, but a change of management seems to have gotten dependability back. I'll change this to 5 stars if things stay dependable for the next 6 months. 😀
The food was excellent, and the service was on point! The owners were great and even came to our table to check on us. It felt like they cared about us having a great time.
What can I say I have been coming here since 1993. I have known Richard the owner since then. This place is like home to me. The food here is always excellent so is the service if you find yourself in Pembroke Pines and craving authentic Chinese food pay this place a visit. You will leave feeling very good and please say hello to Richard for me. I highly recommend this place
