This is my favorite place to eat in Pensacola! The lunch buffet is so good and so is the dinner. I came here for my high school graduation about 4 years ago and they were extremely friendly and gave me a cool hat to wear and had a big table for us set up. There are so many vegetarian options so I don’t feel limited. Every dish is good and the mango ice cream is the cherry on top!
The food was so so good!!! We wanted to try something different so drove from Daphne AL for my birthday to eat dinner here. Our server Mali was kind and gave us great advice on what to order. He gave me a free dessert for my birthday too, home made mango ice cream. The curry and naan and the dosa especially was amazing! Definitely recommend this place!!
We had some of the best food here. If you enjoy tasting international cuisines- this should definitely be on your list. The wait staff was 🤌🤌 The butter chicken and Tikka masala was melt in your mouth good- garlic naan and dosa with the different Dipping options is a must!
this place is amazing!!!
I live in texas and I travel to pensacola about once a year to visit family over here and I always make sure to make time to come eat at this restaurant. This is my favorite Indian food place for several reasons: the staff are so nice and help people who are new to Indian food pick what to order, they are knowledgeable about vegan/vegetarian options and they are clearly labeled on the menu, the food is more than delicious, and the atmosphere is so welcoming and wonderful. I just can't say enough how much I love this place!! my favorite is the masala dosa (which I think the dosas are a weekend special and gluten free)
Delicious food! Me and my friends tried Chicken Biryani, Baigan Bharta, Chicken tikka masala. And loved all of these dishes. The best part was the Mango ice cream! It was homemade. The owner also gave us complimentary sweets. They have a huge list of sweets to choose from. Would surely recommend! :)
This food is the real deal, I’ve been to over 50 Indian restaurants and this is by far one of the best! The food is fresh and high quality with amazing service absolutely delicious!!
Wow wow wow. What an amazing experience especially from the humanity standpoint. We parked and I got out, there was a gentleman eating outside and asked where I was coming from because I have a birthday headpiece on. I explained it was my 60th birthday and that I was being brave and trying new cuisine. He was thrilled told me I looked beautiful and gave me well wishes and that he hoped I liked their food. He was the owner. We didn't realize their hours and they were serving a buffet and closed at 3pm to reopen for dinner at 5pm. We didn't want a buffet because we wanted something specific. My husband asked if we could order from the menu instead. They must of hated us because we got there at 2:45. We really didn't click on the daily hours assuming it was like a normal restaurant. Instead of turning us away the owner came in and told them that it was my birthday and to please accommodate. They did and we told them it was OK that we would come back later. They weren't having it. The owner, Bernard and Mali went over and beyond. We kept apologizing and they kept saying not a problem. I ordered the butter chicken, garlic Naan and hubby ordered the Lamb shank. Mine was perfect. His was on the HOT side. He said his mouth was on fire. All in all we will go back for the buffet or for dinner to order other dishes. I learned to click on businesses hours to make sure. We felt so bad. We ate quickly(done by 3:20pm) and they gave me a box with little desserts for my birthday. Highly recommend this place. We tipped them very well. We had the place to ourselves. I can't thank them enough for giving me the very best treatment on my first experience at an Indian restaurant and my 60th birthday.
Here on a work trip & yup, totally scored in Pensacola! Out of all places, I didn't think I'd run into such good Indian cuisine. That was awesome :) Thanks Money (he was our server) that was a great meal! + great recommendations
Specifically, he spoke to us about Dosa. This was especially good since I don't eat wheat.
One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever try.
Last time I been here was in 2015. And today I came nothing changed still the same tasty food.
You won’t regret trying it.enjoy the food.
One last thing the owner is very friendly.
Great food! Kind People! Atmosphere is inviting. My favorite place to eat in Pensacola, hands down!
Just tried for the first time and absolutely loved it. Everything had its own delicious and unique flavor to it, highly recommend. Will definitely be back soon. Mind you- we had already started eating before taking pics it was too good to wait so presentation was way better than the pictures. They also packaged everything so nicely and included plates and plastic ware for our pickup
Lunch buffet was good. Liked pakoda, lemon rice, chicken curry, Chole curry, Dal and in desserts- liked rava kesari and mango ice cream was ok. Naan was hard. Overall satisfied.
I have eaten dinner here before and was very happy with the appetizers, meal and service. Today I went for the buffet and it was delicious! I am not one myself but, i noted that they offered vegetarian options on the buffet as well. It is also my understanding that while there are some standards on the buffet there is also some swapping out that happens with some of the dishes. The establishment is clean, welcoming and the staff are all very pleasant.
Just had a meal along with visiting family from Cleveland Ohio. Only one of my three relatives had ever eaten Indian food, I have eaten it for 40 years and am glad to report Taste of India is exceptional! I highly recommend the Butter Chicken. Believe me, you will not be disappointed -- Mark "B"
This place was SO yummy!! All of the flavors and spices were fresh and incredible. If you enjoy authentic Indian food, this place is the way to go. Will definitely be going back and ordering take out when I want a night in (:
Delicious Indian food and great service. All the staff are great! Super attentive.
My wife and I ate here on 11-08-22… it was all around amazing from the beginning. Our server was very kind, welcoming, and informative. There was also another server shadowing him who appeared to be a new hire, who was also very kind and seemed to be getting the hang of things.
The food was outstanding. It was fresh and seemed to be authentic. I’ve never been to India but I’ve had many curry type dishes in the past and know fresh food.
After eating here, my wife and I won’t even trying any other Indian restaurants. This will be the spot from here on out! Thank you for the outstanding food and service.
Amazing food, friendly, and fast service! Taste of India could easily be the best Indian restaurant I've been to! We had chicken, goat, and lamb dishes that were all very tender and full of flavor. You can choose mild to wild on the spice. Everything was excellent!!
If you come to Pensacola, this IS the place to eat. Absolutely immaculate cuisine and incredibly friendly and fast service.
