Been visiting Golden Palace for several years. They have consistently kept a nice clean environment with good food at good prices. Customer service seems slow some days, but where isn't it?

Had the chart grilled sliced pork spring rolls and eye round steak and meatball pho. Spring rolls were amazing, and the pho was tasty and very filling. I'll be going back since the bahn mi sandwiches looked great too.
Had lunch. Price is reasonable and the portion size is more than enough. My opinion, a good value. Had the Beef Pho w/ tendon and tripe. Very tasty and the broth is so good. Wife had Grilled Pork Vermicelli. She said she was impressed. I sampled some and thought it was good. Though not my first choice. Sampled the grilled sliced pork rolls which was recommended by another Zomato review. I agree, they were good. Service was friendly, polite and very helpful when questions were asked. I have to add, the inside was very clean.
Very good I love their roast pork spring rolls. Portions are big with the pho. Thwy have a spicy pho that i think is their best thing on the menu next to the spring rolls.Worth a try for lunch or dinner. 4 out of 5 stars.
This place was alright. Not too impressive or bad. Just right in the middle. Ordered the tofu spring roll which was okay. It was kind of bland. The peanut sauce was not bad but I've had better. I ordered the combo pho which was not as flavorful as ones that I've had before. Overall this place was decent. I've had better Vietnamese food. Service was good.
Tried Pho for the first time at Pho Golden Palace on Davis Highway in Pensacola. It was outstanding! What a meal! Everything so fresh and fragrant and delicious. A symphony of mouthwatering tastes. Highly recommended.
Love this place! We eat here all the time. Food is fresh and awesome. The place next door has Pho that tastes like it has canned broth. Pho here is top notch!
Very good and fresh. This place was recommended to me over the other place nearby so I had to try it. The pho tai was very good, hot, and fairly clear. You could taste the complex flavor profile in the broth, well done! Everything was fresh with no wilting on the bean sprouts, cilantro, or herbs served with the pho. The beef on the Bo luc lac was tender and not over cooked. Spring rolls are a cold wrap type, very large and fresh. Service was good and prompt but it was not crowded at the time I was there. I enjoyed my meal and will go back.
Seriously the best Bahn Mi and Pho. We've eaten at other places and nothing compares to this one.
Just ate here as a stop on a road trip. Got the pho and loved it. The staff was super friendly and the bathrooms were plenty clean!
Good Vietnamese Restaurant. First trip to Vietnamese restaurant in Pensacola. It was pretty good.
I have to say I'm spoiled by my favorite Vietnamese restaurant, so saying that this place is pretty good is a fairly solid compliment.
The restaurant is clean and tidy. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The food come out quickly and was nice and fresh.
My complaint is they skimp a little bit on the more premium ingredients that really give Vietnamese food its exotic flare. The Bun Bo could've used some cliantro, chilis, perilla leaves, lime leaves, mint leaves, lemongrass or basil.
Oh, and to my surprise the spring rolls didn't have fresh basil in them?
All and all this is a good place, especially for the price. I just wish they'd use some more of the delicious ingredients that makes Vietnamese food so good.
Yummy pho!. Next to tu-do, also serves vietnamese. noodles are better here, broth better at tu-do. staff was nice, and has comfy seating. i like it!
I LOVE THIS PLACE. My favorite for Pho and you have to try their grilled pork spring rolls... I have to order them every time I go and sometimes have to take some home.
It's authentic Vietnamese food! Pho is a lot better not commercialized! And it's a lot cleaner than tudo. But I really do love tudos #51 :)
One of my favs!. I absolutely love this restaurant! I have been going to this place for years and the food never disappoints me. My parents also is a huge fan of this place. Fast and great service. I love the banh mi sandwiches, they are huge and delicious! The pho dac biet is amazing and they add so much meat to the bowl. Try this place! You won't be disappointed. Definitely try the special spring rolls! They are to die for!
I had some noodle dish I didn't fancy an mom had some fried rice which was pretty tasty. Even though I didn't like my dish I did like the vibe and there has to be something out of the bazillion things on the menu that's gonna wow me. Shall go back again.
I am always on a mission to find quality Asian food. I am not a local resident of Pensacola, so during a recent visit I decided to read some reviews on Urbanspoon and pick out a Vietnamese restaurant. I have to tell you that I believe this is some of the best that I have tried anywhere. Stating that it was a great value for the money just wouldn't be However the portion sizes were generous! The food had great substance and sizzle, seeming to be the real thing! Service was friendly and attentive. Cleanliness and presentation were good. The decor is a bit dated and disconnected, which are the only negatives that I observed. If that makes this place qualify as a hidden gem, so be it!!!

This place has the best pho dac biet I've ever had!!!!! They load it with so much meat. I made the mistake of ordering a large bowl but should have gotten the small. It was so filling. Excellently prepared! The service is awesome!!! Great food. Great place for Vietnamese food!

Our waiter was professional, the restaurant was very clean and the food was the best I've had for a long time, have to say this is now my favorite restaurant. Was pretty good. We ate at this restraunt using a groupon. This restraunt was busy when we walked and was a good sign. The food tasted good, we order calamari which was so-so slimy. I dont know if its because i have eatin calamari overseas or what not, but locally the only good calamari i have had was at mandarine moon in Gulf Breeze. The entree that i ate was pork/noddles and tasted right for this dish i ordered. The service was alright, i did ask for a menu item and did not receive it. By that time we were on our way out. it was removed from the check though.

I love this place!. This place is ridiculously amazing. Went there on a whim one day and have been back several times. The portions are huge and pretty cheap. Great selection of Vietnamese food and some classic Chinese dishes too. The lunch comes with a huge plate with the meat, a pile of rice, an egg roll, and even soup to start out. Two people can eat there and get out under $20, easy. Not to mention the friendly staff and adorable interior. Don't let the outside fool you. Give it a try!
PHO is awesome!!!. I love Pho soup and they do it just rite :-) Add a Thai tea and it's a complete day in happy mouth n tummy bliss.
Like their lunch specials, food didn't seem quite as good at night, maybe they have a different cook then. Great hot n sour soup.
Cooking with the best.. I always have a Great meal here, great service and cooked fresh not a buffet or drive thru this is slow cooking at it's best. We need more dine in Places like this. "Great Prices"
Short rib combo. Had it tonight and it was great, fragrant rice with a fried egg two sautéd shrimp, two grilled short ribs, and fresh pickled cabbage under $10. Ate myself into oblivion. If you like Korean Kalbi you will love this dish.
Great value, good eats. I had the opportunity to try several dishes at GP, but by far the best value and flavors can be found in the Vietnamese sandwiches. At $6.40 (after tax), these sizable sandwiches are a steal. The marinated chicken, pork, or combination served on a fresh baguette with fresh cilantro, jalapenos, cucumber, and magical sauce is a harmonious blend or sweet, savory, and spiciness. Half of one is sufficient for lunch, leaving the other half as an introduction to the uninitiated (if you are incredibly altruistic), or, like me, I make a glutton of myself. In a town where there is little in the way of stand-out Asian fare, these understated sandwiches humbly distinguish themselves as an example of the kind of excellence and uniqueness largely lacking in Pensacola's Asian offerings.

GP for life.. First of all, Golden Palace is not a buffet, it is a Vietnamese Restaurant of the highest caliber and it also serves quite a few Chinese dishes as well.
I am fairly snobby about where I'll go to eat but I go to GP about 2-3 times a week. Everything is fresh and delicious, the Pho is rich and bursting with flavor, the vermicelli dishes are always cooked impeccably with the most succulent grilled meats, the Banh Mi is perhaps the most delicious sandwich I know of, the spring rolls are refreshing and the sauces here are never watered down. Even the Chinese food slays most others in this area. The service is great and my cup is rarely empty, and for my money there is no better restaurant in Pensacola.
I can also assure you that these sentiments are shared by quite a number of my friends, who since trying GP out, never returned to Tudo. In fact, just this afternoon I went there for the first time in years just to make sure I knew what I was talking about, and I'll never return. There is simply no point in eating food the lacks the flavor, texture, and freshness that the excellent food at GP provides every single time.
Golden Palace is next door to a popular Vietnamese restaurant called Tudos. I've eaten at both and I can say that Golden Palace's Pho, Spring Rolls, and Boba drinks are top notch. They have a different variety of Pho dishes that come in different sizes. With their Spring rolls, you only get two in an order, but GP believes in quality instead of quantity. GP was the first restaurant in our area that I know of to make Boba drinks. I normally go with the Taro Boba. GP also has Banh mi on their menu and those sandwiches are delicious and cheap.

Great Pho. Good all around
I enjoyed the food overall but I do feel like I did not get enough beef with my X large portion of Pho. It felt like I had more noodles than anything. The broth was light but I was hoping for a little more flavor. The shrimp rolls were good because they don’t have a lot of any mint in them that would over power the taste. However the rolls and peanut sauce were room temperature which are usually served chilled at other Vietnamese restaurants.
The pork on the Bahn-Mi was to die for. One of my all time favorite sandwiches and theirs absolutely did not disappoint. The veggies were brought, fresh, and crisp as could be.
And Anna was an excellent waitress!
The menu is somewhat limited, but they offer the classic favorites, like pho and a Banh mi sandwich. My server was super friendly, my food came out quickly, and everything was delicious! I make the drive from AL to Pensacola just for good food!

After the disappointment at Quickly, had to try this place's banh mi.
Hands down, far above, so much better. Plenty of tastier meat, better quality ingredients, bigger portion, and only a couple dollars more. Even with the longer drive, I'd much rather go here to eat again. The staff is amazing as well.
Edit: came back, got chicken spring rolls, the special spring rolls, and pho. All of it pho-nomenal
Our server was very polite. He served us very fast. Shrimp lemongrass was delicious, just a little spicy for me. Overall, nice place, friendly people, and good Vietnamese food.
Pho golden palace has delicious food and they have great Bahn Mi sandwiches (the Vietnamese restaurant next to them does not have these sandwiches). The only thing you should know is if you come in 25 minutes before close time on a Friday night for one small to-go order, they are going to tell you they are closed.

Might say as asian person this's best Pho's house in Pensacola. 😋 everything we ordered was fast and tasty 😋 not mention about potion is HUGE especially Pho 😍 thier have option as small,large,XL size. I order large and can't finish it all. So I took back home as lunch for next day and Pho is still very good 👍
I ate here last night with my wife. This is probably one of the best chicken and beef Pho's that I have had and the service was very quick. Highly recommend if you want some good Pho!!!
The Food is good here. We liked the way the soup tasted. We do hesitate that being this tasty like any other places if they add MSG? For the most part it seems ok and has that real broth taste to it. Customer service is good. Taking our orders was fast and accurate. But asking for a small bowl took forever to come to our table. And the server who took our orders seems like he forgot or just didn't care since the other lady cleaning the table brought it to us. Will still come here but more aggressive next time with our server to follow through.
Talk about a great experience on my quest for food greatness! This food was incredible , every bite was like a flavor explosion of sweet , salty , savory and totally worth every penny. The spring rolls with the fish sauce flavorful and excellent . The brazed beef pho was phenomenal , the best yet. The sandwich is a b'anh mi was an toasted sandwich with chicken and pork with cilantro , carrots and onions. The meats were sweet , salty and savory . This food is incredible! I love Larissa!
Bahn mi! Thought it was pricey until I saw 2 sandwiches in the bag!! The spring rolls are amazing and the dipping sauce is on point. Picked up Tuesday dinner, had leftovers for Wednesday, now I'm back on Thursday. Draw your own conclusions...
I love this eatery.. their food is so good and flavors are on point. I’m such a regular they know my order and somehow their food never disappoints, well except for that one time I didn’t particularly enjoy the broth lol but I still give it five stars because the food and service is amazing.The egg rolls are delicious especially when it’s piping hot...try the chargrilled chicken spring roll too, it’s pretty good. Absolutely amazing this is our 2nd time here, and hands down this is the best place from pcb to Slidell. The owner is super cool, the beef pho P5 on the menu, fried egg rolls are homemade down to the sweet and sour sauce. The restaurant is clean on the inside, parking lot is lit. Hands down the best real Vietnamese restaurant in the gulf coast. We will definitely be back!
We had an awesome experience here. The atmosphere, service and food were exceptional. Ordered beef and meatball pho and vermicelli noodle bowl with egg rolls. We also ordered a taro boba. I will definitely be back based off of this visit. So far this is the tastiest pho I have found in Pensacola.

The Banh mi was super flavorful and they offered both "singles" and "doubles".
