We finally found a chance to make it over here for lunch and we were not disappointed. Service was fast and the waitress was very nice. More than enough options on the menu for anyone. Fried food and fresh food, beer and great sweet tea. The fried okra appetizer was awesome and I loved the seasoning on the fries. Checkout the freezers for some dinners and treats to take home. We’ll definitely be back!
Absolutely delicious. Juicy, tender, and meaty. Laid back atmosphere. They have a little market inside where you can get stuff. My best friend tried the Cajun seafood gumbo and didn’t like it as much but everything else we ordered was so well done and delicious! Went back again the very next day. The food is filling and satisfying and doesn’t leave you feeling heavy. Highly recommend
Might've been my favorite meal of the trip. The alligator bites were delicious. The beignet fries were out of this world. Would like to go back to try the crawfish!
We came here because we wanted to try gator bites and they had these on the menu. Everything we ordered was perfect. Would definitely come back to try the crawfish boil next time we are in the area.
I cannot say enough great things about this place, first the place was like coming home, the staff greets you with smiles and attend to you right away. Then the waitress, Ashley, what a sweet lady!!! She was completely knowledgable about everything on the menu from the appetizers to the dessert, everything she suggested was fantastic. The food came out quickly and was hot and beautifully set. From beginning to end this food was flavorful, appealing, comforting and amazing. I enjoyed the atmosphere, environment, people and food more than any place I visited in NOLA. I have to say this is as authentic as you can get! Go to Broussards, I promise you, you will leave with a full belly and a happy heart. My compliments to the chef and Ashley our waitress. Best place ever! Cant wait to go back.
Delicious food. Short wait. Food was not heavy surprisingly. Had the blackened alligator poboy crawfish etouffee and deep fried cheesecake. Staff seemed shorthanded but did well anyway. To the kitchen staff THANK YOU!!
Love this Cajun restaurant. The manager is super nice and the food was fresh and delicious. They started a brunch meal and it was also a big hit. They also have meals to go in boil- bags. Can't wait to try the Crawfish Etouffee!
I am from New Orleans so I am pretty picky about my cajun food. I had the unique experience of trying LITERALLY EVERYTHING ON THE MENU! I photographed the menu for Grub Hub and was sent home with ALL OF IT! Needless to say, it was way more food than I expected when we made the deal. Even with my whole family invited over, we had leftovers for days. Some standouts were the peel and eat shrimp (perfectly seasoned), all of the gumbos and red beans and rice were great, the fried seafood was perfect and the etouffee was really good too! All of the blackened and grilled fish were also really flavorful as well. For deserts, the Key lime pie was our favorite! My only "negative" review, would be for the roast beef poboy bc I am used to the New Orleans style debris, cooked in it's own gravy so this was not my favorite. This restaurant is a definite must try!
Great cajun food. Crawfish was good. Seafood platter was huge. Fried oysters and catfish were fried just right. 5 stars rated if crawfish had been purged better. Remoulade was very good. Check out the market forntake home.
It was ok. In town for a work conference. Small eatery however it was a lot of our group there, some sat inside, we sat outside however they made sure we had enough heat lamps and when one went out they left and got a replacement from another restraunt. Awesome manager. Live music. Food and drinks were ok.
Had dinner here Saturday night and was thoroughly impressed! Ashley was super helpful with the menu and quick with service. It was seat yourself so we sat in the courtyard patio area! We had the boudin balls (not pictured) and four pounds of crawfish, and a “sloppy Broussard” po-boy! All of it phenomenal! I was pleased to hear the crawfish were boiled to order & the boudin was spicy & delicious! & I could not believe the size of the po-boy! You’re definitely getting your moneys worth! It was unfortunate that this establishment wasn’t busier on a Saturday night because they have such an awesome thing going! I never have seen it advertised really but heard about it through friends! I hope to see this place pick up but I will be back for more in the meantime!
This place is awesome! We have visited here for many years and love the food. Our visit today was incredible and Rebekah did a fantastic job waiting on us. We highly recommend the fried cheesecake and gumbo!
1st time going to Broussards and I will be back! This place has great tasting food and service was perfect. I got the crawfish queso and shrimp tacos with fried okra!
Awesome food. Got the pick two. Grilled shrimp and fried gator. The gator was tender and juicy. Shrimp big and fresh. Small place that is worth going to again and again.

Ashley was phenomenal !! She was sweet & courteous. She was very attentive and always told us what she was doing, how long it would take and what she would do next. She made our first experience memorable. Thank you Ashley !!
Came down for Valentines Day from Tennessee. Looked for a less touristy spot, and hit it out of the park. You could pick this place up and put it anywhere and feel at home. Oh, and the FOOD! Cajun Alfredeaux... nuff said!
