This is one of Pensacola’s best country style cooking I have had. I ordered the chicken and dumplings along with coleslaw and green beans. All were excellent fast service. I visit pensacola often and find their food and service as good as anywhere in the area. Their grilled and fried shrimp are as good or better than the super expensive seafood restaurants. Also, perhaps a small point, but one of the few places where I will eat chicken gizzards !
Always great, never had a problem here. Good southern food, plenty of gravy which I love, as I'm from England...…. gravy is what we love. Only thing missing is beer, but that's ok.. food and service is well worth it.
My wife and I have been eating at Po folks for over two years. The food there has always been excellent, servers courteous, attentive and knowledgeable. When we want a home cooked meal, that’s where we go!!!

Clean friendly folks! Went on a Saturday afternoon very crowded but wait was like 5 minutes. Once seated we placed our order and as we waited so much decor the older people will remember and the younger people will be wowed!
We ordered the fish/ shrimp special with 2 sides$14.99 and it was so good
Kim (2) was our server. She was an absolute delight and treated us wonderfully. Chicken livers were the best ever!! Cabbage was so flavorful ❤️.
Fried chicken, cabbage🥬, breadstick, and pork chop were good. Macaroni and cheese was terrible like most other restaurants. All of that was $10 so pretty good value.
Service was friendly but inattentive. Appetizer plates were cleared when entrees arrived and drink refills had to be requested.
Great affordable place to eat. The steal was amazing. My waitress was extremely attentive. She was also friendly.
I've been coming here for years and it is amazing everytime. The food is always so delicious and filling. Can't beat the great prices which has barely changed since opening. You can always see Russ smiling and checking in on everyone. Definitely a pensacola staple that is a must try.
Decent food, good portions. Menu names are funny and decor is dollar store cracker barrel, however overall good. Like the flannel the waitress has to wear as well. Give it a whirl!!!
Unexpectedly found ourselves here for lunch one day on our vacation. Looked like just a run of the mill family restaurant.

Our waitress was Beverly, she was very professional and friendly. The food was good and the servings were very generous. We've never been here before, but we will be back .
They were short handed tonight but was still waited on promptly. The food came out quickly & was delicious. The lady who waited on us wasn't normally a waitress but did a good job. It was a wonderful experience.
Enjoyed our dinner. I loved that it was low keyed and quiet. I could easily socialize with my friends while eating. Love the music they played-classic rock. Very reasonable prices.
