The manager, Rob, has great customer service. I encountered a small problem but he was quick to fix it. The food there is absolutely delicious. I like the pulled pork and baked beans. Can't go wrong with the free ice cream!!

Love this place, wish it wasn’t so far from home

Let's me start by saying the food was amazing!!! Our order included ribs, loaded bake potato, 10pc wings, and fried okra. The ribs you could lick off the bone, and their wings are cooked to perfection. Okra was really good, and their loaded bake potato was 😋. Decent location and fair parking are also in the same parking lot as Wal-Mart. Staff was very engaged and helpful. At that moment, we were the only customers, so I was a little hesitant, but the food was exceptionally well. 4star is from deciding which table we could sit at seeing crumbs left on numerous tables. Will definitely give Dickeys Barbercue another shot.

Learning the restaurant we normally frequent was closed, we opted to see if they had relocated.They had. We're not local but finding our beloved Dickey's just five miles away tickled us. The new restaurant was as expected. While lacking personality - they're all the same - it was clean. We were not greeted, something we look for in any restaurant. The man who took our order never made eye contact or said hello. He acted like he would be somewhere else. I could blame 'this' generation, but these people were raised by the children I raised, though I do think social media has robbed them of social graces like making eye contact and saying 'hello.' Moving on, we were told the creamed spinach, my personal favorite, was removed by corporate. Bummer. It is truly the reason I frequent Dickey's. Though I enjoy the ribs today's weren't up to par. When a staff member, Wendy, overheard my comment to my husband, she quickly offered us a replacement. My husband was already elbow-deep into his ribs so I told her 'all is just fine, thank you.' Coleslaw, my chosen side when creamed spinach wasn't available, was 'eh.' Nothing special, but edible. Wendy came over to check on us repeatedly, without hovering. I finally asked her for names. She graciously provided names and mentioned while the manager was away the owner was there. Good, send him over, please, I asked her. Promptly a man who looked like he was someone to respect asked if he could sit down. Of course. Great eye contact, very pleasant. He listened to my thoughts with interjections from my husband, and rather than give me the usual well-rehearsed 'by the book' answers I felt he truly heard me. How refreshing. While he glanced at his crew once in a while, it was apparent he trusted them to keep the ball rolling. After sharing my concerns - some just personal preferences - he was quiet for a moment. He looked at both of us and thanked us for sharing with him. He felt there was a need to tighten up a bit but the fact that he heard us and had a solution. What a delightful young man who owns several Dickey's in several states. He's busy, but he's focused and he cares. He also said we might be able to contact our local Dickey's to see if they can still get my beloved creamed spinach they can provide in our area as a special. I'll check that out. Now, I must apologize as I wrote down everyone's names but can only remember Wendy and the receipt went out with the trash. So, the bottom line of this review? Simple. I love Dickey's, but wish they had more low carb options, but it's not a huge deal. We love their ribs! I think the owner's name is Richard (Pensacola), but not sure. It doesn't matter, he knows who he is.

Very delicious and clean place! Absolutely amazing brisket! Staff was very friendly and service was great! Highly recommend and will definitely continue to come.

Nice place, quiet, friendly service. Meat by the lb is great for Carnivores! Although caution I had to have them take off and replace some of my meat. They added some kind of seasoning and didn’t tell me but they were nice about fixing it. But just a heads up for anyone with sensitivity or restrictions. We got a lb and half me and DH and split it and I was full. The pulled pork was juicy! Way better than sonny’s which is so dry and hard to eat without sauce but this was perfect! This is on the corner facing Academy next to The Joint Chiro.

This was my first time here with the family. We went on a Friday night & wasn't crowded like all the other restaurants around town. I mean we didn't have to wait for a table & didn't have to wait long in line to order our food. It was actually my Dad's birthday 🎉 The food was delicious 😋🤤 there was a pretty good variety to choose from meats to sides. They made our food pretty quick & you can see them cutting the meat which was pretty Cool 😎 We added a drink & we got a plastic gold 80th anniversary cup we can keep if we wanted with they're logo on it. Plus, there are disposable lids to fit so it won't spill. You help yourself to your choose of beverage like soft drink & ice tea. They also have condiments like Sweet, Original, & Spicy 🔥 Hot Barbecue Sauces that u can help yourself to plus, Pickles & Onions. They have lots of paper towels, good plastic wear, & even container's for the sauces with lids. It's very convenient ☺️ Ohh & they give you a single pack of wet one little towelette if you need it cuz sauce can make your hands sticky LoL 😆😜 The Staff is Very Friendly, Attentive, Hard Working, Caring, ECT. Everytime we needed something they would get it like no problem. To go container's, extra lids, bags. To top it all off for dessert they have free soft serve ice cream cones🍦at the condiments bar that you can just get yourself. It's a really neat idea ☺️💡 & a nice touch for adults & kid's!! So I highly recommend this place for a laid back fun friendly atmosphere with Awesome food & you won't be disappointed!! 👌😃 If your wondering about 😷 mask's costumers & workers were wearing them.
