I eat here all the time. Tuesday's have the best specials! Pizza and staff are amazing! Authentic wood fire pizza..... delicious! Outside patio has fun and games for the family. Highly recommend.

great food, wine and atmosphere. we had a bday party in the outdoor patio area and it was such a great venue - lots of room for kids to play all the games while the adults visited and eat dinner peacefully!

The pesto pizza with tomato was very good. Prices are reasonable and happy hour / reverse happy hour makes them better. Fun atmosphere with corn hole and life size connect four. I talked to the manager Scott to let him know we would be coming in late on a weeknight and he was very welcoming of my group. On the night my group of 17 came in, bartender Josh and manager Scott did agreat job with getting us drinks and pizzas ordered before the kitchen shut down. Scott made our experience a great one. Thanks.

I tried two of their pizzas for my first time here: prosciutto & fig and the classic margarita. I've tried two other places like this, with the stone fired pizza, one in Oregon and one in Illinois. The crust at CHAR is thicker than I've had in the past, but they put a good amount of sauce on their pizza. The margarita was perfect on its own, but would be a great base for more ingredients. The prosciutto & fig was tasty in its own right. I'm thinking the balsamic drizzle would have served better as the sauce instead of a traditional red sauce. Maybe balsamic and oil. And the arugula added an unwelcome bitterness, in my opinion. With that said, the saltiness of the prosciutto and sweetness of the fig were wonderful together and the balsamic tied it all together very nicely. When I visit my relatives again, I will love coming here again.

Subway style pizzerias seem to be the latest craze and most of them are decent. Char takes it to the next level. I think the key here is fresh dough, not to mention the other quality ingredients. Plus it’s even delicious reheated. What makes Char stand out is its restaurant. They bring the pizza to you, like an actual restaurant, as opposed to getting up when your name is called. And the bar. They have a good selection of rotation beers on tap from their full bar. I can’t wait to take advantage of their happy hour.

It was our first visit and we ordered off the menu rather than doing the "build your own" option. The meat lovers pizza was fine, nothing spectacular, the bacon and corn pizza was very disappointing. Very salty tiny crumbles of bacon and the corn was chewy and had no flavor. The house salad with Gorgonzola cheese was good. The people who worked there were nice but it's nothing I would ever go out of my way to go back to. If I had to eat it again I would get a pizza with fresher ingredients. The crust wasn't even that special. I make better at home. It's probably a good place for kids if they want to build their own pizza. The margaritas were average at best, definitely not from scratch, nor worth what they charged. They had different seating options, outside with stand up heaters, or inside. The atmosphere was fine. All in all I would give it a 3 and 1/2 star.

Went here for a quick lunch- service was very kind and my food came out quite quick. You could taste and see that the ingredients used were incredibly fresh. I got the bruschetta and tried 3 different types- a more classic bruschetta, one with bacon, and one with salami and pesto. The second was my favorite by far, but the others were also delicious. I got the pizza Bianca which came out with a thin crisp crust and good flavor.

It's been about 6 years since I've been here. I wanted a quick lunch at a decent price. While the pizza was good, it's very hard to justify the price. After all, this is just a little flour, cheese, and a couple toppings.

The cooking/prepping around is very clean and organized. Upon arriving you are greet and your order is prepped then you move to the next area to pay. As for the lower start seems a bit pricey for margarita pizza spending $50 for 3 pizzas and 1 drink. As for the pizza is simple but very tasty. The red peppers with oil makes it tasty.

A delightful night, dining alfresco. The kitchen left an ingredient off of one of our pizzas, but our bartender addressed the issue quickly. No downside since we had time to enjoy our wine and time together. We will definitely be back!

This place has been our go to weeknight dinner and hang place with friends since it opened. Its a great place to relax and have a good time. The pizza is very authentic and you can get if almost any way you want it.

The pizza created by Ashley and cooked by Nick was absolutely phenomenal. The toppings were excellent and very plentiful. There was an error with my pizza but the manager came out and told me how it was corrected and how a new one would be out momentarily. A few seconds later my pizza arrived and it was worth the wait. Absolutely excellent in every way. It was very easy to create the pizza and within a few minutes it's at your table. I'm from New York and I was astounded to have such a great pizza in Arizona. We will definitely be back again.

Love this place! I can have a gluten free vegan pizza here that tastes great, get drinks, and my kid can enjoy the patio. A mom of a toddler rarely gets to enjoy her meal. Favorite place to meet other families too.

Update: I visited the location again today. Through my decade in the pizza business, I know a good pie when i see it. I am once again blown away from the cleanliness of the line to quality of the bake. My experience was next level. what a pie! I went here on friday and the pie was cooked to perfection. You can really tell the oven guys know what they are doing. Despite the large crowd, the pizzas came out in quick fashion.

The pizza is delicious, with good quality ingredients and toppings. The options are plentiful. Once ordered, you find your table and the pizza gets brought over once done. This usually takes about 10 minutes. Nice local spot with a good vibe.

There are so many choices today when you're looking for pizza. HOWEVER... if you want a pizza that "days later" you'll still be thinking about how delicious it was then this should be your designation! Oh, and an added bonus! Exceptional service! There's a gal named Jay who's been there for a long time who absolutely defines the term customer service! Everything you'd want, and then some! Even when you're on the phone with her placing an order you know "she's smiling!" And in my book that coupled with mouth-watering pizza ... well that's where I'm going to go for pizza!

Came to meet up a friend. I wasn’t sure what to get so I made my own pizza with half cheese and half sausage, ham, pepperoni, green pepper and onion. It was good but pricey. My friend also got bruschetta and it was good too. They have a deal on Tuesdays.

We got three pies to go and when I got home they weren’t cooked well. I called and the manager to inform her of the food. She delivered us three brand new within 30-40 min from the call. We go here often and the food is always good. They had a minor slip up and went over and beyond to make it right. We appreciate you guys!

I just tried this pizza for the first time. I got a the meat lovers. Right off the bat, let me tell you this is delicious, and I am a picky person when it comes to pizza I love the thin crust, I love the flavor. The place is adorable, the little pregnant girl behind the bar just sweet as can be. The only thing I wasn’t wild about is it for $19 I think the meat lovers need to have a little bit more meat. But that will not stop me I can see me going back here easily
