I have to be honest when I say Applebees is not one of my go tos, but tonight while having an appointment nearby I was looking for time to kill and something to eat with one of my kids. I haven’t been to this location in over a decade I believe because I don’t live in the area. When we arrived it didn’t look too busy, but we were told it would be about 10 minutes or so. I quickly realized they were very short staffed which made sense for the wait. I honestly felt a bit bad for the staff since they are also offering $1 margaritas right now. It ducks that the ones willing to work are pulling double duty for the ones who don’t want to work etc. once seated we were greeted by our waitress Bree you we overheard stating she was just helping out this location. Kudos to Bree. Not only was she a great server to us I saw her run around so quick to help so many others. She was kind and efficient. Even when I overheard some other customers not being so kind/patient she kept her cool and did what she could. We ordered the 2 for 30 where we had the ribs and steak. As an appetizer the spinach dip. Everything came out pretty quick with the help of some other staff. Everything was good for the most part. I am glad they let me sub mashed potatoes for a side salad. It was an additional up charge , but worth it. The salsa was fresh and lettuce crisp. My steak was a bit overdone, but still decent. Our appetizer was great. My son enjoyed his ribs and was happy they just fell off the bone. Some of the tables were dirty and dishes still sitting, but again it was very obvious they were shorty staffed and were trying their best. Shout out to Bree for working her tail off tonight. We appreciated her efforts and smile very much.
Dollaritas for October were delicious! Got one in regular, Strawberry, and Blue. The staff was nice! Christina was friendly and attentive. The food was also really good, will go back again!
Had lunch with my wife mid day and it was great. In and out with really good service. Marcus was our waiter and he did a great job appeasing our needs. Only 2 'complaints' if you will were, we ordered boneless wings and got bone in (no biggie, we still ate them and they were delicious) and it would go from warm to cold and back warm as far as the temp in the area we sat. Other than that, a great experience, food and service wise
I sat at the tables around the bar and had amazing service. Cody was on his game and really took care of my order, my all you can eat wings, and my order to go. Make a point to look for Cody when you come here and you’ll get the same great service I did. Food was fantastic also.
Tonight for the first time ever. I went to Applebees for Veteran’s Day. They really go all out. I was impressed with the whole experience. The place was packed but relaxed with quiet conversations. The staff was busy but not overwhelmed. The free meals were good selections. In the entry there was a Table of Honor for those who could not attend.
Well done Applebees, well done.
Amazing experience… had a custom order and they fulfilled all my wishes. Food was spectacular. Service was even better. Timothy was an amazing server and was there for us every step of the way. We will definitely be back!!
My family and I went out for a mid week dinner tonight. Fun Arizona weather of 118 degrees today had us literally crawling in .. however the restaurant was nice and cool which was a pleasant treat. Our server Timothy was very cheerful and polite. We never had to ask for refills as Timothy made many rounds to each of his tables to make sure everyone was happy. The food as always was fast and Amazing .. and again our Timothy was there to give his expertise advice and suggested the best desert by far!! Good job Applebee's and again good job Timothy!! You put the A in Applebee's!
For the money with today's ever rising prices, you can't beat Applebee's 2 for $25 menu! We could have ordered an appetizer, but each got a nice big salad that was very cold and fresh.
For the entree, they let you mix and match from three columns of four choices. The first column will cost the 2 for $25. The choices from the next two columns raises the prices a couple of dollars so it's still no more than $30 or so dollars.
I chose a higher priced entree and got a delicious saucy chicken and shrimp dinner with 2 scoops of really good mashed potatoes. My wife chose from the first column and got a great chicken dish she really loves. All together it came to under $30 so well worth the price.
Josh Blue was the best server I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. His charismatic personality truly took our experience to another level. He was quick, thoughtful, and efficient. If you dine at this location I genuinely recommend you request Josh to serve you. You won't regret it.
We went for the boneless wings. Shrimp. Ribblets. All tasted okay. Not much too special about it. Their ribblets are probably the best option. They are good. The little sliver bones kind of suck. But still yummy. Price was great for all you can eat.
