My brother and I ate here on a Tuesday evening - it was both of our first times to Rhythm Kitchen. I loved the atmosphere - the unique decorations and good (recorded) music in the background. Our waitress was Sarah, and she was running the whole front of house and you could tell that she cared if you had good service - and we did. My brother had the Jerk Chicken and finished it very quickly - said it was great. I had the Shrimp Creole - it had a nice subtle heat all the way through with a great underlying flavor. The sweet biscuit that came in it was really crumbly - but that worked great in the dish. We ended with the bread pudding which was delicious. A great place to check out.
This place seriously gives off the best vibes. Different and interesting people and menu AND atmosphere of course. The food is seriously great (and I recommend the Yaya gumbo and any meatloaf.)
If you like a nice homestyle cooked lunch or dinner, then this is the place to go! Shelley and Chef Jason work magic with their ingredients and the food melts in your mouth! Theme is mostly South/New Orleans food, but Shelley and Jason have some great home recipes on the menu as well! Exceptional staff, food, and environment and don't forget to check out the Friday and Saturday night local bands either! I love the Rhythm Kitchen!!! #SupportLocalSmallBusinesses
It was amazing! Best atmosphere, great food, and awesome music! The staff was super friendly and the artwork/design was impressive. Very unique place! Sooo happy we stopped in!!!
Really fun environment, great food, friendly staff. We were there for lunch, but in the evenings they have a small stage for live music. Bar serving up drinks too. Highly recommend!

I love this place my new favorite place togo out and have dinner. My boyfriend and I went there last night for my birthday and we both have the grilled chicken sandwich. Amazing. Loved the mashed potatoes and the muffin my boyfriend got. Can't wait to go back again.
The food and service are wonderful! I held my sister's Birthday party there and we loved listening and dancing to the music of Dexter Oneil and Funkyard. Jason booked our party room, prepared the best appetizers, and took great care of us! My family loves the Rhythm Kitchen!
Fabulous time and we were so glad we stumbled upon this lovely place! Food was beyond excellent and cooked perfectly! Service was friendly and the live music was great! Our faves were the grilled chicken, jerk chicken dinner, gouda pesto pizza. The pear pie and bread pudding are traffic stoppers!
Rhythm Kitchen Music Cafe is a special jewel on the Riverfront of Peoria! The atmosphere, the music, the food and the wonderful staff. You have to go if you havent! It's a unique place you can't miss!

Try the Salmon BLT and mashed potatoes! They’ve also got some nice drink options and often have live music. The service was great too.
Only rating it 4 stars because I once had an experience where after over 2 hours we still didn’t get our food and was told to keep ordering drinks and appetizers. It was on my birthday with friends and everyone got too hungry to keep waiting. To be fair, it was a First Friday and some large unexpected groups were there as well. I’m glad I’ve since tried it again because their food is good!

We've been regulars for years but the shift in hours kept us from being able to visit. We finally made it there over the weekend and it was the best meal we've had in ages. Salmon BLT, side salad, mashed potatoes were perfect! Even the oatmeal cookie was 10/10. Thanks!

great atmosphere, kind and hardworking staff. the decor is so cool, but the music is what makes this place. Rhythm Cafe is an apt name!The gumbo was awesome, but not nearly as good as the mashed potatoes!
We came in on a Thursday night, visiting the area from Dallas. Glad we lucked up and found this spot. The vibe was so chill and relaxing, food was amazing. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Love this spot and will be back.

Love the food and atmosphere as always!! Everyone was so accommodating... we had our 7 and 2yr old with us and the staff let them play jinga in the back room. We love everything about Rhythm Kitchen!!!
