The customer service and food is always on point. This last go-around we had smothered pork chop with string beans, mac-n-cheese, and mashed potatoes along with some corn bread. Beyond amazing. This place is always a good choice in my opinion.
Man oh man! This was an awesome soul food stop and I will be coming back soon! I had a burger combo with chili and slaw added (does cost extra) and my sweetheart had a fishplate with cabbage and Mac and cheese my Lord!! Food was pretty good best soul food I had since moving to Virginia but the yams not my cup of tea fish was good the corn was good and was okay would eat here again

Came here at the last minute craving some good old fried fish. This place did not disappoint! Very crisp and flavorful fried fish, decadent candied yams and succulent peppery green beans! I will definitely come back when I visit Petersburg again. The owner was a very nice man too!
