First time customer....dined with my Granny....Must say.....I was very satisfied with the "Smoky" taste of the meat...and their humble attitudes....inquired about the size of the loaded bbq potato and instead of giving me an "illustrated measurement"...they offered me a sneak-peek.....not to mention...I purchased the potato and it was delicious....Great service....Great BBQ.....Great attitude!
My favorite hometown BBQ place. The ribs are great. Simple, no frills bbq joint with great taste.
Right on the corner. I like Smokey Pig cause you can see the smoke rising from the back chimney as you drive up. I like their pork sandwiches, but they have other options. The sides on their plates are expected and not exceptional. I like that there are lots of local folk eat here. Sauce? kinda spicy and alittle on the sweet side, but the smoke in the meat comes through.
Some of the best BBQ around. It's definitely a hole in the wall, but that's what adds to its charm and authenticity. This place has been around since my dad was in college, so you know it's good. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed.
Very good BBQ. very old business. Grew up eating from here.
Old timers plate and drink $12
Johnny is my go to for bbq. Hes been there forever and knows how to cook. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly and its just an old school atmosphere. Their hours have changed to Monday-Wednesday 11 to 6 and Thursday-Saturday 11 to 7 which is posted at the restaurant but not on the website or Google. I always enjoy the bite-sized with stew.
Best meat in town. Try the old timer's plate. My go to, very good.
Just blasting through town, jumped in here and fu#%ed up a rack of ribs. Very good moist and tender, great sauce too!
Sandwiches and stew good as usual. Picked up some sauce to take home to Virginia.
