Went there solo. Was pretty busy so i had a table outside but it was right under the heat thingy, which was nice.
At first service was pretty slow (but they were busy), but eventually I received the attention I expected.
The Homemade Ricotta is to die for. The drinks were great as well.
I ordered
We stumbled on this restaurant while we were visiting Philly. We looked at the reviews and decided to try it out. My son and I definitely enjoyed our time here. Dixie was our server and she was simply the sweetest. She made us feel welcomed, took time to explain different menu items, and cracked a f
Long pull beers were delicious, as were every single plate we ordered. We don't often stay for dessert but the sticky toffee was irresistible! Love the dog themed dining room...bar is adorable!
The people were amazing, very well received. The ambience was beautiful and cozy with Christmas decorations. I thoroughly enjoyed dining here. Food was good, loved the dessert.
The vibes in this place were great. Service/drinks/food all on point. We loved all our dishes including the free bread! I forgot to take a photo of the sticky toffee pudding because I was too excited
Popular British pub with multiple rooms and Old World atmosphere. Excellent professional/fun service. Lots of good/creative food and drinks.
True to form - awesome place. And oh my gosh, the bread! And ricotta... And cultured butter. Awesome selection of beers and great on/off-menu cocktails. All of the food was top notch and just what you'd expect from a traditional pub. Service was EXCELLENT and there was such a cozy vibe. The kind of
Love the service, each worker Interacted with was lovely. Food was good, I wasn't blown away, but I would go again. Loved the warm olives, pleasantly surprised. We got the crab croquettes, olives, pint of prawns, and lamb shepherd pie.
The food is excellent. 10/10, go for the food. The service is the only reason for the four star. The host didn’t make mention of happy hour, and when I asked after overhearing it a few times she said I had to move to partake (after just having ordered two dishes of food). The waiters checked on me t
Wow! Came here for a team dinner and was blown away by the whole experience. The decor in this establishment is so well done and the food is fantastic. The homemade ricotta is out of this world. The deviled eggs were also delicious. I ordered the tandoori chicken for dinner and the portion was so la
Absolutely delicious meal. House made ricotta was delightful. Tandoori chicken was cooked perfectly and the shepards pie had an amazing depth of flavor. Service was perfect with great cocktails and beer selection.
Love love LOVE this place! The ambiance is on point. Sat at the bar, service is excellent. The rabbit pie is insanely good. It’s a rabbit and mushroom gravy with a puff pastry on top and it’s chocked full of rabbit! The flavor is nothing short of delightful. The drinks! I tried a Pim’s Deluxe which
The “A Royal Occasion” ($50) afternoon tea is good but not perfect. I am a bit disappointed at the food they offered. The sandwiches seem cheap and not as delicious as I expected. The overall atmosphere is great though.
walked by and thought-let’s try this place. we were seated immediately by a friendly staffer. the atmosphere was light and the staff were all so nice. we were served quickly and the food was delicious! ricotta was creamy-the beets were perfectly pickled -the pint of pawns was perfectly cooked and f
We got the royal experience afternoon tea. Service was great, atmosphere was so nice, food was good. My critique would be that we were disappointed that the tea was bags not loose leaf and our pot ended up over steeped by the end. The sandwiches were very very good, and the pastries were good not gr
Everyone knows the Dandelion, so it had to be tried. The food was excellent, we got the charcuterie and whipped ricotta as appetizers.. they were delicious. I opted for Fish & Chips, and the fish was cooked perfectly. The service was ok, but the atmosphere was so nice. It was a rainy day and they ha
I really liked this spot. Brunch in Philly is pretty lame but offers a proper omelette / French toast investment. I hate going to brunch why am I paying $15 for eggs and bacon when I can do it better myself ?! I loved the French toast, it’s huge so better to share (unless you’re a bottomless pit, go
What a great place! My brother recently moved to Philly so we had a family dinner here. Everyone loved their food and the service was great. Definitely would love to go back! Highly recommend! The corner booth felt like the best seat of the house!
The Dandelion is a nice restaurant tucked into a street corner not far from the Courthouse. The restaurant is set up much like an old cozy city home from the late 1800s to early 1900s. Food and drinks were good and they had a decent beer/wine/cocktail selection. I had the root vegetable soup for
